Creedmoor, NC gives new meaning to "race city, USA" ............back in the day, this community could boast of Butner, Jet, and Creedmoor Speedway, and they were just the tracks 'in the neighborhood'. Creedmoor is just about vanished, but is still visible in the 1994 image. It was located on Hwy 50 just south of town.
