I got a phone call this afternoon that Lowe's will make call sometime Thursday afternoon about the race this weekend if inclement weather is threatening................

Other than exppected large amounts of rain wed and thur the weekend doesnt look that bad.

I talked to Lowes this afternoon and they told me that there was no intent on calling nothing except the test and tune at the drag strip. I was told this just after they had a managers meeting. They will start Fri and what they dont get in they will start early Sat. And what they dont get in Sat they will run Sun. The people at the track ask me where I had heard the same thing you did because they had said nothing like that about the Colossal. Heres hoping what they told me is true.

I dont think they would call it on a thursday either unless the chance of rain was real high and it had already rained. I know i went last year and it rained and rained and they kept waiting and finally it stopped and they got the race in. It was wet but they raced.

when i went the first one it rained on me the whole way there and had just stopped there and they had the track race ready in 2 hrs so they will get it in unless it doesnt stop raining

I am ready to head out. I know it rained last year and they had the track back ready in no time.

Fms should take a hard look this weekend .....if they are thinking about postponing sat night they should let the racers know early enough(if any way possible) so that they can join yall at the collosal......

It has chanced since yesterday. It said 30% or 40% yesterday, but now it is at 70% for both Friday and Saturday.:Think:
