I picked up a used set of camaro A arms to go on my car and the passengers side is about 1/4" longer from front to back through the bushings near the engine. The old ones both are 15 and 1/4" and the drivers side new used one is 15 and 1/4" the new used passengers side is 15 and 1/2" or so? this makes no sense and never seen anything like this. They look just alike laying side by side any clues? Thanks for any help.

After much research I am lead to beleive that the oddball control arm is bent. It is bent in an oh so perfect way that makes it look unmolested but bent none the less.

1973 - 77 Monte Carlo, Chevelle, and Nova all use the same lower control arms.

If you need a set of stock control arms, I have a set that I can sell you for $55 each + shipping. They are not sand blasted or painted, since they are still on the vehicle. But you can also buy the upper control arms and the spindles at rock bottom price - if you take it all.

They are longer than the GM metric arms, which is a good thing. But you will also find that you will have to fabricate a set of mounts to bolt them to - because I believe that they are also wider than the GM metric control arms.

A good fab shop could mount them for you and put them in the right place so that the upper control arms will have the right caster / camber split and also be located in the proper place, which for most divisions is in the center of the #1 spark plug in reference to the middle of the upper ball joint.

You didn't say which year Camaro

The newer arms are identical to the metric except the camaro uses a bigger bushing then the GM metric.
