Barely remembered this one from back in the day........Jet Motor Speedway, off I85 near Butner, NC. It's another ghost track horror story, in the early 90's it was still a track, but now, it's a SUBDIVISION.........YUCK!!! The old track is now "Rogers Point Road"............ with little pink houses...............for you and.............me

I think you are talking about Butner Speedway not Jet. Jet Speedway was on Mangum road off of highway 15 north of Creedmoor.

Thanks for the info, I thought Jet and Butner were two different names for the same track.

The last time I went by Jet motor speedway,about 4years ago,it was a pond.

Where, exactly was Jet? There's a Mangum street in Creedmoor, but haven't found a Mangum road.

I found a Mangum Street in town and Mangum Ave 2.1 miles east of town just south of NC58. The 1993 topo does not show a track at Mangum Ave. or St. Terraserver lists Mangum Rds in Angier, Evergreen, Reidsville and Hickory.

I think it could be Brogdon road near Hester road and highway15.
