RULE BOOK DISCLAIMER
The rules and/or regulations set forth herein are designed to provide for the orderly conduct of racing events and to establish minimum acceptable requirements of such events. These rules shall govern the condition of all events, and by participating in these events, all participants are deemed to have complied with these rules. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM THE PUBLICATION OF OR COMPLIANCE WITH THESE RULES AND OR REGULATIONS. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the sport and are in no way a guarantee against INJURY or DEATH of a participant, spectator or official.
The Race Director shall be empowered to permit deviations from any of the specifications herein or impose any further restrictions that in his opinion do not alter the minimum acceptable requirements. NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS. Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials. Their decision is final.
The management of Oak Level Raceway
GENERAL RULES
PLEASE take time to read and understand all rules and regulations!
A. HAVE FUN! The most important rule of all!
B. SMILE! Very inexpensive.
C. It is up to the drivers to make sure that their crew(s) comply with the rules.
D. If an official observes any problem with a competitor’s racecar, equipment, or conduct, the official may take whatever action he deems necessary to correct such problem. Such action many include but is not limited to, physical examinations, medical determinations, car or driver disqualification and/or suspension.
E. Oak Level Raceway is private property.
F. By entering the premises, competitors and participants indicate that they are aware that auto racing involves risks and assume these risks with full awareness and knowledge that death and/or serious injury may result and agree to all rules and regulations of Oak Level Raceway.
G. Through your registration, purchase of pit pass or ticket or entering the premises you have been given the authority and the privilege to be on this property. The officials of Oak Level Raceway reserves the right to revoke/cancel this privilege at any time that it is felt that your presence or conduct is not in the best interest of the sport of auto racing, your fellow competitors, the fans, management, or employees of Oak Level Raceway. You also give permission to use any photograph or image, interviews, results or anything else to be used in any manner that track so desires without any remuneration whatsoever.
H. If a driver, crew member, competitor or official initiates or maintains litigation in violation of this covenant, that driver, crew member, competitor or official agrees to reimburse Oak Level Raceway for the costs of such litigation, including attorneys’ fees. Driver, crew member, competitor or official further covenants that in any litigation brought against Oak Level Raceway for any reason, the matter will be tried before a judge of Henry County General District Court or by Henry County Circuit Court and hereby waives any right to trial by jury in such action.
Disability / Medical Benefits
A. If injured at Oak Level Raceway, report to the ambulance for treatment and have your injury treated; provide, name, home address and telephone number to the ambulance crew for a record of your injury. Any one involved in any accident on the racing premises of Oak Level Raceway who does not report to a Raceway Official before leaving the premises (providing you are able to make such a report) will not be eligible for benefits prescribed under benefit plan. Anyone returning to competition or usual occupation after injury shall be deemed to be physically fit, and further disability benefits and/or medical benefits shall cease.
Safety
A. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE DRIVER/OWNER TO INSURE THAT HE/SHE MAINTAINS, WEARS AND PROPERLY USES PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. THAT HEAD AND NECK RESTRAINT DEVICES, WHEN USED, ARE CORRECTLY INSTALLED, MAINTAINED AND PROPERLY USED. THAT SEAT BELT RESTRAINT SYSTEM AND ALL COMPONENTS ARE CORRECTLY INSTALLED, MAINTAINED AND PROPERLY USED.
Minimum Required Safety Equipment
A. Approved helmet and eye protection
B. Approved quick release racing restraint safety belt and harness assembly installed according to the manufacturers instructions and guide lines
C. Approved quick released latch type window net
D. Approved racing type aluminum seat installed to the roll cage according to the manufactures instructions
E. Fire retardant driving suit, one or two piece is required. Fire retardant gloves, shoes and socks are recommended
F. All safety equipment must be used when on track
G. Working Fire extinguisher safely mounted within reach of driver
H. Ignition and battery disconnect switch labeled on/off within reach of driver
I. All roll bars padded in reach of driver
J. Battery mounted in a Late Model style battery box
K. Steering: Shaft may be modified for safety by altering length and position. May use universal joints in shaft and quick release steering wheel. Steering wheel pad is recommended.
L. All holes in firewall must be covered with metal
M. May use stock windshield, lexan or wire screen. Must have at least 3 bars in front of driver
N. Hoods and trunks must have positive fasteners
O. Any wheel spacers must be approved by Tech
P. Tow chains front and rear
Q. No one allowed under car without jack stands. DQ may result
R. Roll Cage: Follow NASCAR guide lines using round magnetic steel tubing with a minimum size of 1 ¾” x .095” (some divisions 1 ½”) for the main perimeter type cage. Auxiliary bars may be smaller diameter. Eight point system is recommended. Four convex bars in driver’s door pane with six connecting studs and at least three bars in right side door with four connecting studs. Extra bars may be added. All Bars must be welded 360 degrees with gussets at major stress points. All bars in driver’s area must be padded with approved roll bar padding. No external nerf or push bars. All bars must be located behind sheet metal.
S. Exhaust pipe that goes through driver’s compartment must be enclosed. If exhaust exits through body of car it must be welded to an exhaust flange and flush with the body
T. Drive shaft: Steel and painted white. Must use a minimum 2” wide by 3/16” steel 360 degree loop mounted to cross member. Two loops recommended
U. Approved fuel cell with foam in metal can be mounted between frame rails behind rear end using minimum 1” x 1” tubing with 1 ¾” tubing for rear protection. Track fuel or pump gas
V. No external mirrors; inside mirrors OK
W. Windshield: May use stock, lexan, or wire screen with a minimum of three safety bars. All other glass must be removed
X. Weight in block form and painted yellow or white with car #. Secured by two bolts minimum of 3/8” with locking nuts. If weight comes off car will be disqualified. Minimum weight with driver. No tolerance.
Y. NUMBERS: minimum of 18” x 4” in contrasting color that is clearly visible on both doors and roof (to read from passenger side). Use only one or two digits 0 through 9. No three digit numbers, no fractions and no letters. Area around and behind number must remain clear. 6” inch numbers front and rear. Car weight on hood near driver. Reflective or holographic are not recommended. Scorers must be able to read number. If not readable you will have to change.
ENTRY
A. Each driver must have a completed, signed current entry form. This address will be official. W-9 must be completed, signed and on file.
B. Any one under 18 years of age must have parental/guardian consent form signed and notarized before coming to Oak Level Raceway to enter the pit area.
C. No car may compete in two different divisions in one night.
D. Only Tech Director can approve a car changing divisions.
E. Your car number may be kept if your entry form is received on time.
F. No one allowed in pit area until they obtain proper credentials/pit passes and have signed all necessary releases and waivers for each event. Arm band must be worm on arm, not hats, etc.
G. Oak Level Raceway reserves the right to accept or reject any entry.
H. Tech Director must be notified in writing and approve of driver changes. No driver changes permitted after a car has qualified unless authorized by Tech Director. If a driver change is allowed, that car must start at the rear of the field. No driver changes after the race has begun.
I. Only the driver may express a complaint to any official.
Points
A. Feature points for finishing positions with 50 points to the winner and a drop of one point per position. Passing and heat race points may be used.
B. Each car on the parade lap will receive at least one point.
C. Double points – 100 to win and drop of 2 per position.
D. Points are awarded to driver and not the car.
E. Points may be lost if written driver change is not approved by Tech.
F. Ties will be broken by: most wins, then best finish in last points race.
G. Check your points each week, if not notified in writing within one week points will be considered to be correct.
Pit Conduct
A. PLEASE stand during the Invocation and National Anthem.
B. During National Anthem, driver’s meeting, driver interviews: ALL CARS MUST BE STOPPED WITH MOTORS OFF!
C. No donuts, etc on track in Victory Lane area for safety.
D. Speed limit is the pits/infield is at idle.
E. Pit road speed must be slow.
F. NO GLASS BOTTLES allowed on track property.
G. No person or persons involved in racing events shall be under the influence of intoxicating beverages or other prohibited substances.
H. Any driver entering a racing event is considered to have inspected track and all conditions are satisfactory to him/her. If not, they should not race.
I. Any person on Oak Level Raceway property is subject to disciplinary action for any of the following, but not limited to: Fighting, Profanity, Threats, Use of drugs, Speeding in the pits, Dumping grease or oil on the ground, Dumping tires or debris of any kind on track property, Possession of a deadly weapon, Forgery of official papers, Violation of any other Oak Level Raceway rules or Violation of any County, State or Federal Laws.
Procedures
A. Lineups: Will be determined by the following and are subject to change. Time trials, heat races, drawing, points, previous finishes, average points, fan selection, number of wins and other methods. Line-ups are determined by scorers. Pit officials do not make these decisions, do not question them.
B. Drivers not lined up to qualify will not be allowed to qualify later.
C. If heats are run and driver fails to make heat: may not run in another heat.
D. If a car is unable to start a race, all cars behind that position will advance straight forward. No crisscrossing.
E. All cars must be lined up in staging area prior to end of previous race or start in rear of field. Drivers in more than one division may notify officials if their race is back to back and join field in their starting position.
F. Any car not in his starting position when pace lap begins will go to rear.
G. Drivers must attend drivers meeting or may start at the rear of the feature.
H. Any car not on track when green flag drops must wait until all of the cars have gone past the pit exit in turn one before entering track.
I. If on track during parade lap, you are considered as having started the race.
J. Any driver entering a racing event is considered to have inspected track and all conditions are satisfactory to him/her. If not, they should not race.
K. Flat tire rule for Limited Late Models and Super Street: Must bring caution out. Minimum two laps to change tire only. No other work. Only for cars on lead lap. Must go to rear of field.
L. Top three drivers stop on front straight for interview. Other cars to pits.
M. Top 5 cars go to tech area.
N. Limited Late Models may use radios:
a. All frequencies used must be submitted to track prior to use.
b. Use of radios will be for safety related items only, not to direct driver to block or change lines.
c. Abuse of this privilege may result in not allowing radios to be used.
Start/Restart (GREEN FLAG)
A. All initial starts will be two wide. Restarts may be double file.
B. Flagman starts the race.
C. After one double-file restart, may use single file restart. Cars must stay closed up on starts, may receive a stop and go penalty. If a car in front of you does not close, you may pull around in front of that car provided that you can be in line prior to turn three.
D. Race leader may restart race in area designated by the Race Director. If not restarted by leader in designated area, Flagman will restart race.
E. Lead car must keep constant speed after water tank. No brake checking. Penalty for jumping start/restart will be a stop and go penalty. No passing prior to green flag.
F. After the green flag is displayed, any car that goes to the pits must go to the rear of the field.
G. If cone is used cars must go above cone. Car that hits cone or goes below cone will receive stop and go penalty.
H. Car that causes caution on start may be sent to rear.
I. Track officials may inspect any car on the track and remove or pull back damaged parts. Car will retain position.
J. Cars will be lined up going back to last completed green lap.
K. Car that does not allow a car back in line for lineup may receive a stop and go penalty.
Caution (YELLOW FLAG)
A. NO FAULT caution. If your wheels stop turning you go to rear period. Line up in rear in order you get restarted and back in line. Cars involved and stopping will go to rear of field.
B. Two spin rule: Any car spinning out twice on their own, will go to pits for inspection. Third spin car will be parked.
C. “Quick Caution”: If quick caution is displayed, Race Director will let all cars keep their position.
D. If yellow flag comes out on last lap prior to leader receiving checker, race will finish under Green, White & Checkered. Race may finish with Green and White flags waved together and then Checkered. In certain cases race may end under red flag conditions.
Move Over (BLUE/YELLOW FLAG)
A. Driver not moving to the bottom of the racetrack after receiving move over flag will receive the black flag. If off pace be courteous and move to inside of track.
Race Stopped (RED FLAG)
A. Stay in line and stop where instructed.
B. NO work may be done on car while on the track at any time. Go to pit road or pits.
Driver Consultation (BLACK FLAG)
A. Black flag may be given for a rule infraction or a safety concern.
B. Black flag will be pointed and displayed at the offending car. Just pointing the flag is a warning and does NOT require the car to stop.
C. Driver receiving the black flag MUST come to pit road.
D. Ignoring black flag three (3) times will cause car not to be scored and must go to the pits.
End of Race (CHECKERED FLAG)
A. Indicates official end of race. Checkered flag and not number of laps determines completion of race.
Scoring
A. Lap method and tape methods are employed for scoring. Make sure that you understand that when the lead car passes you that you are down a lap.
B. You must inform in writing if there is a scoring question. Scoring recheck decisions are final, non-appealable and non-litigatable.
Penalties:
A. Participants may be ejected from premises at the discretion of officials.
B. Any participant touching an Official in an offensive manner shall be suspended INDEFINITELY!
C. Penalties for violation of rules may include, but are not limited to: disqualification, suspension, probation, parts confiscation, fines, loss of points.
D. Oak Level Raceway, Race Director and officials reserve the right to impose upon any driver, crewmember, spectator or any other person on track property disciplinary action for violation of any rule. Disciplinary action shall be at sole discretion of Oak Level Raceway and shall be final and not subject to appeal.
Protest, Teardown and Inspections
A. Written protest with appropriate fees in cash must be presented to within 10 minutes after the completion of the race. Protest may not be withdrawn.
B. Any car in top 5 positions may be protested by any top 5 finishers. Counter protest are permitted.
C. All cars are subject to inspection or teardown at ANY time and in any manner determined by Tech. Driver will be responsible for seeing that tear down or inspection is done as per request.
D. Track is not responsible for any expense for an inspection or tear down.
E. By entering the premises you agree to allow any part(s) to be confiscated that are not approved. Any part(s) including complete engines and/or race vehicles may be impounded for inspection. All non-approved parts will become property of Oak Level Raceway.
F. ALL decisions by officials regarding timing and manner of inspection and which cars will be inspected are final, non-appealable and non-revisable.
G. Refusal to tear down will result in DQ, loss of points, prizes and a $100.00 cash fine paid to Tech prior to going on the track.
H. Tech may check any part at any time during a tear down or protest.
I. Track scales, gauges and any other device used in inspection are official.
Protest Fees
A. Limited Late Models with steel head engines:
a. $400.00 cash. Remove intake manifold and one head.
Check: Head, Piston, Cam, Carburetor, Bore, Stoke and Displacement.
B. Super Street
a. $300.00 cash. Remove intake manifold and one head.
Check: Intake, Head, Pistons, Cam, Bore, Stroke and displacement.
Additional $200.00: Crankshaft, Rods, Clutch, Flywheel
C. Mini Stock
a. $300.00 cash. Intake, Head, Pistons, Cam, Bore, Stroke and displacement.
Additional $100.00 Crankshaft, Rods, Clutch, Flywheel
D. Pro Crate Late Models & Open Wheel Modifieds
a. Protest free $500.00 cash. Remove Intake, one head, check head, piston, bore and stroke, cam timing, remove oil pan and visual check of crank and rods. If OK $400.00 goes to driver and $100.00 to Tech. If not OK $400.00 is returned to protestor. Driver will not be allowed to compete in this division and will be responsible for all cost incurred for engine check and must pay costs before engine is released.
Other
A. No soaking or softening of tires. Penalty; DQ, fine, loss of points, loss of awards and prizes, tire and rim confiscated.
B. No traction control devices. Penalty; DQ, fine, loss of points, loss of awards and prizes, tire and rim confiscated.
C. Rules subject to change as deemed necessary.
Prizes and Awards
A. Prizes, points, money and awards go to driver.
B. Entry form must indicate if other person than driver is to receive money.
C. No moneys paid until all entries and W-9 are filled out correctly and signed.
D. No money to be paid to any car that does not start race.
E. All charges and accounts to Oak Level Raceway and any associates must be paid in full before any check, money or awards are releases.
F. Checks must be cashed within 60 days.
G. If race is ended prematurely due to weather, etc. drivers will be paid for events completed. Tow money will be issued to cars that did not compete. Pit passes will NOT be honored at next event if heat races or time trials have been completed. Pit passes will not be exchanged or refunded.
UPDATE TO RULES FINES AND PENALTIES: JANUARY 17, 2006
1) Any unsportsmanlike conduct will result in a $50 fine and/or ejection from the race track for that evening.
2) Any physical confrontation with a track official will result in a $250 fine, 100 pts.
to be taken from car, and suspension to be determined by track. (MIN. 2 races)
3) Any driver/crewmember found to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs
will result in IMMEDIATE removal of that person from the track and $100 fine.
Could also result in car being disqualified for the night.
4) FIGHTING:
1ST offense: $200 fine, 1 race suspension and 100 pts. taken from car.
2nd offense: $500 fine, 1 year suspension, and 200 pts. taken from car.
Under red flag 1 crew member allowed out to car (NO WORKING ON CAR) unless approved by track official.
ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ALLOWED IN PRESS TOWER!
Qualifying and Heat races:
1. Limited Late Models and Crate Late Models will get 2 lap qualifying.
2. Super Street, Open-Wheel Modifieds, and Mini Stocks will get 5 lap heat races.
3. U-Cars and All Americans will draw for starting positions.
PRO CRATE LATE MODEL ENGINE RULES
1. GM Performance engines Part #88958604 & 88958602 with any make/model body.
2. Standard Dirt Late Model body rules
3. One Carburetor. Any spacer plate. FASTRAK 1 inch maximum.
4. Weight for GM engines: 2350 lbs after race with driver. No tolerance. FASTRAK has burn off rule.
5. HEI or MSD ignition with MSD 6AL with chip or track approved rev limited device. Chip: TBA
6. Clutch: Any type.
7. Maximum 6” max. Engine set back.
8. Transmissions: Manual, Bert or Brinn type trans. No direct drives. Working reverse.
9. Headers: Collector type parallel to ground. MUFFLERS optional.
10. Stock harmonic balancer on 604, 602 and all pre 604 engines.
11. Pump gas and/or track fuel.
12. Steel or aluminum 14” max. wheels. Bead locks OK.
13. Goodyear track tires. NO GROOVING. FASTRAK does not allow grooving.
14. Any driver that competes with an engine in which the purpose of the seals have been violated or any unapproved engine modification have been made will not be allowed to compete in this division plus other penalties will be levied.

LATE MODELS
CAN CUT AND GROOVE TIRES FIRST 5 RACES – CAN RUN ANY HOOSIER TIRE FIRST 5 WEEKS
TIRES: HOOSIER D-11, D-21, OR D-55 (SPEC TIRES ONLY)
Weight:
1. Limited Late Models will weigh 2350 after race with driver.
2. Spec. engines & Limited Sportsman (i.e. LLM's from 311) will weigh 2150 after race with driver. ZERO TOLERANCE!
Limited Late Model Engine Rules:
1. Engine setback- 6” maximum, measured #1 spark plug to top center ball joint.
2. Rear of car may be opened.
3. 76” maximum width on body. 1” tolerance.
4. 101” minimum wheel base.
5. Engine #1- 8” rear spoiler-45” maximum height from ground, 76” wide.
Engine #2 (Spec engine) 12” rear spoiler-49” maximum height from ground, 76” wide.
NO TOLERANCE!
6. No part of body may extend beyond the plane established by the 76” width.
7. Rear bumper may not extend over ½ width of rear tire on each side. May be curved inside rear quarter panels at 90 degree angle.
8. Front push bars allowed, may not exceed width of front chassis rail.
9. Suspension- OPEN- ANY TYPE.
10. Front and rear wrecker pick ups are MANDATORY

ADDITION TO SUPR “SPEC” ENGINE PARAGRAPH*
SUPR “Spec” heads with SUPR cast logos.
Chevrolet SUPR “spec” head with SUPR cast logos.
Ford SUPR “spec” head with SUPR logo on the outside and SPEC
Logo on intake and exhaust ports.
1. Intake port opening NO larger than original opening and may be port matched. Chevrolet may use a FelPro 1206 gasket and FORD may use a FelPro 1262.
2. Chevrolet intake opening may be ground or polished ¾” or NO farther into port than the closest edge of the closest letter of the SUPR logo. Ford intake opening may be ground or polished 3/8”. Intake port polishing will be allowed NO more than 1 ½” below the bottom of the original seat ring on the back side of the bowl area, and NO more thank 1” on the short side. Any opening up of head past these points will be illegal.
3. Polishing will be allowed in the combustion chamber area to avoid hot spot chafing.
4. Polishing will be allowed in exhaust ports as long as the original SUPR logo is NOT affected or port shape is not altered.
5. NO intake or exhaust port relocation, raising, enlargement, or reshaping of any type.
6. Valve angle and placement may NOT be altered in any way on the SUPR “spec” head. NOTE: SUPR has and will be using, Brodix supplied checking templates and tools on the SUPR head. DON’T GO past these points or templates and tools will disqualify you.
7. In the rules above, if it doesn’t say you can, then don’t.
NOTE: These head and intake manifold combinations were designed with one thing mind, to have equal air flow. If anything is done to increase airflow above original specs by manufacturer, they will be illegal.
SUPR logo must remain, with NO changes, in all locations. Flat top pistons ONLY. No titanium valves, crankshafts or connection rods.
OPEN WHEEL MODIFIEDS
1. Basic UMP/IMCA rules with the use of the GM PERFORMANCE 602 engine. OTHER MOTORS WILL RUN A FASTRAK RESTRICTOR PLATE! Rear of engine bell housing flange mounted at least 72” forward from the center of rear axle. Engine offset within 2” of center line of front cross member. Minimum engine height 11” from front center of crankshaft to ground.
2. Standard type roll cage not less than 1.5” outside diameter and wall thickness of at least .095.
3. No altering of brake rotors/calipers. No single disc brake rotors. Must be O.E.M.
4. Exhaust headers parallel to ground.
5. Factory production parallel American passenger car frames only. Frames may be cut in rear only at point not farther than 36” from center of rear end housing. Frames must be complete in front of firewall. No cutting of frame in any way in front of firewall.
6. Frames may not be widened or narrowed. Front cross member may be notched for radiator clearance only. Minimum frame and body height from ground is 4”.
7. See General rules for additional safety requirements.
8. Front O.E.M. suspension in stock location. Must be replaceable by stock part from same type suspension. No aluminum shocks or other suspension part. Stock passenger car spindles only. No fabricated spindles. Bottom A-frames cannot be altered or moved. Control arms copies may be used that are approved. Approved lower control arm manufacturers are: Pierce Race Cars, Lightning Chassis, Bob Acord, PSI Manufacturing, UB Machines, INC., and Sherman Racing.
9. Tube type upper A-frame allowed and can be moved.
10. Coil over shocks OK per UMP rules.
11. Rear of frame may be altered to accept leaf or coil springs. Any coil springs must be at least 4 1/2” outside diameter. No fiberglass springs. No fiberglass lift bars. No rear torsion bars
12. One shock per wheel only. No lay down shocks less than 12” from brake rotor. Additional shocks in other locations permissible.
13. Wheel base: Minimum 108”, Maximum 112”. No front clips or tube type allowed. No aluminum suspension or rear-end parts. No aluminum or fiberglass drive shafts. Steel only.
14. Original roof lines of vehicle should be maintained with a maximum 1” drop rear to front. No wings. No spoilers or any other ground effects allowed inside or outside of car.

Rear of bodies to be solid panel at least 8” high with car number on it. Rear panel completely fastened from side to side at all times. No gaps allowed. No holes of any kind allowed. Rear panel must be solid from quarter panel to quarter panel.
16. All windows minimum 12” vertical opening. Entire interior must have 12” clearance from interior deck to roof and all sections of roll cage for easy exiting in case of fire.
17. No direct drives. Must be able to shift to forward or reverse with engine running. BERT type transmissions okay.
18. No adjustable shocks, hydraulic or pneumatic weight jacks, Trackers, M.S.D. boxes or similar adjustable components of any kind inside cockpit of car. No traction control devices.

DOMESTIC U-CAR RULES – U-CAR WILL RACE FOR POINTS
Oak Level Raceway has established an affordable entry level class of racing to experience the thrill of circle track racing. The purpose of this class is to allow people to learn track procedures, racing manners, gain experience and have fun. This class will keep racing cost at the minimum and competition at the highest. Thus, making it exciting for both the fans and the drivers. Fire suit is required and must be worn at all times while on the race track. The driver must be in the pits for the drivers meeting. Driver’s name must be on the car above the driver’s door. The first three finishers in the previous race will start in the last three starting positions for the next race. Any driver that is disqualified from a race will be suspended for the next two events. The car can be driven by another driver after the infraction is corrected.
CAR MODELS
1980 or later front wheel drive only. Maximum wheel base of 105. Completely stock for that make and model (body, frame, suspension, dash, steering, pedals, brakes, etc.) No bracing or body modifications, stock ride height for car being run. All insulation under hood must be removed. Stock carburetor/fuel injection system for that make and model. No turbo or super-charged systems allowed. Factory stock air cleaner system with no modifications or removal of sensors, 4 cylinder only. No quad 4’s, No dual overhead cam engines allowed. PS belts and pumps may not be removed. Battery must be in stock location. Passenger car tires only, all four wheels and tires must be the same and be stock for that make and model of car. Right front must have oversized lugs for safety. Low profiles tires or performance tires are not permitted. Stock suspension in stock position. No altering of camber or caster adjustments. Stock transmission and differential (no lock differential). Broken windshields may be replaced with 3/16” lexan. No Plexiglass removal of A/C condenser and pump is allowed. Removal of rear seat allowed, but must cover rear firewall with aluminum or steel sheet medal. Electric engine cooling fans may be wired to run constantly. No added weight of any kind is allowed.
MANDATORY MODIFICATION
Fire extinguisher is required in the race car fastened by metal brackets. 4 point roll cage with mandatory 2 side horizontal door bars on the driver’s side approximately 12: apart with one vertical supporting the middle and recommended diagonal bar on the right side. All roll bars must be 1 ¾” x .090” wall seamless steel tubing. Roll bars must be welded to a minimum 3’ x 3” x ¼” thick plate and bolted to the floor pan with a minimum of four ½” bolts and through another 3’ x 3” x ¼” thick plate on the bottom of the floor pan. Must have two support bars from the top of the cage angled down to the frame in the trunk area. Five point racing seat belts required and must be mounted in a matter acceptable to track officials. Approved helmets with at least a valid SA 1995 or SA 2000 Standard Snell and gloves are required. Racing seats and drivers suits recommended. Window net must be mounted in driver’s side window, opening secure with ½” solid rod or 3/16” x 1” flat bar with the rear of the top rod in a slot and the front of the top rod secured with a lever or seat belt fastener. Bottom and top must be securely mounted with no hose clamp mounts.
ALL AMERICAN
Body/Frame:
§ Full size American made cars only, rear wheel drive only.
§ All body components must be stock.
§ No interior sheet metal.
§ No spoilers other than OEM (subject to track approval)
§ All glass and lights removed. Windshield OK or may be replaced with screen wire.
§ Grill and body side moldings must be removed. Grill can be replaced with wire screen.
§ Bumpers must be original and in place. No reinforcing.
§ Front, rear & top hoops required, with a minimum or 4 door bars on the driver’s side and 3 door bars on the passenger side. Bars must be padded around head area. Full 6 point cage highly recommended. All cages subject to approval by track staff.
§ All cars will have front and rear tow hooks or chains. These will be easily accessible by track personnel and wrecker crews, and be capable of supporting weight of car during towing.
§ No radios or mirrors.
§ All suspension components and mounting must be stock or OEM equivalent. Rear end can be locked.
Engine/Transmission:
§ Standard production motors. No high performance options or parts of any type.
§ No porting, polishing, grinding of any engine part.
§ No angle plug or bow tie heads.
§ One Factory/OEM 2 barrel carburetor - 1" max. adapter
§ No aftermarket intake manifolds.
* Hydraulic cams and lifters only. No roller rockers.
* A 3/16” or 1/4" vacuum test port must be functional at carburetor or intake manifold. No vacuum altering devices are allowed. Engines are subject to vacuum testing and cars with low readings (guideline 14" at 1,000rpm) may be asked to pull their cam.
§ Exhaust can be removed, but must exit behind driver.
§ No engine will be torn down for protest. A $500.00 claimer rule is in effect.
§ Stock/OEM transmission only (auto or manual). Stock/OEM flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, torque converter, drive shaft, etc. All gears must be in working order.
Wheels/Tires:
§ Standard production wheels, not to exceed 7" width. 14" or 15" diameter only.
§ DOT metric street radials, not to exceed 225 tread width. No snows, mud and snow, racing retread or DOT racing tires. Tires not deemed within the spirit of these rules, will be disallowed. If in doubt, ask!
§ No cutting, soaking or grinding off numbers
Fuel:
§ Pump or racing gas only. Unocal Racing Fuel recommended. No alcohol, methanol or nitrous oxide allowed.
Weight:
§ Minimum weight, 3400#’s with driver after race.
Age Requirements:
Driver’s must be 13 years of age or older for All American, U-Car and Mini Stocks (parental consent required for minors)
Driver’s must be 16 years of age or older for Limited Late Models, Pro Crate Late Models, Open Wheel Modifieds and Super Streets (parental consent required for minors)
