Greg Davis from Rockwell, NC has jumped from the seat of a race car into the hot seat of the GM position at Ace Speedway located in Altamahaw, NC. Davis will visit Doc and the gang to discuss the new racing year at Ace Speedway and what fans can expect in 2009. Brandon Ward from Winston-Salem, NC has enjoyed a great short track racing career wining at every level along the way. Ward will drop in to chat about his new adventure racing in the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour in 2009. Ward has earned victories in the former named NASCAR Goody’s Dash Series, UARA-STARS Late Model Tour and the USAR Hooters Pro Cup Series. Keith Brame JR from Gibsonville, NC was the big winner of the Walls Roofing U-CAR Clash for Cash series at Wake County Speedway this past week end. Brame JR will chat with Doc and the gang about his big win and what may be in the future for this talented racer. Brame JR has earned U-CAR track championships at Ace Speedway over the past couple of years.

Rockingham Speedway President Andy Hillenburg will join Doc to discuss the up coming races and events scheduled at the “Big” Rock and “Little” Rock plus his future plans for the speedway. The UARA-STARS Late Model Tour and the RE/MAX ARCA Series will be racing at Rockingham April 18th & 19th. Tim Brown from Cana, VA will drop by to discuss modified racing in the south. Doc and his crew will not be Kick’n Asphalt this Thursday from Bib’s Downtown in Winston-Salem, NC. Doc and the crew will be traveling down to the Rockingham Speedway for a special episode of Kick’n Asphalt on Friday April 17th at 5 PM (EST) on RaceTalkRadio.com.
The UARA-STARS will hit the Rockingham Speedway Friday April 17th at 3:30 PM (EST) to set the starting field for the first ever tour stop at the famed Speedway. Doc and the gang will be Kick’n Asphalt from the garage area following qualifying to talk with the drivers and get their thoughts about qualifying and racing late models on a track that measures over a full mile in length. Kick’n Asphalt should hit the air around 5 PM (EST) on Friday April 17th.
The green flag for the UARA-STARS Late Model Tour event at the Rock is scheduled to drop around 3:45 PM (EST) on Saturday April 18th and every lap can be heard on RaceTalkRadio.com with the pre-race show set to begin around 3:00 PM (EST). Joining Doc in the booth for the call of the race will be the 2006 UARA-STARS Champion Brandon Ward. Derek Pernesiglio from SPEED Channel and veteran short track announcer Tony Stevens will be keeping everyone informed on all the action from pit road.

Georgia native Charles Collins is the name of the person behind all the recent hype surrounding the famed North Wilkesboro Speedway located in Wilkesboro, NC. Mr. Collins has agreed to join Doc and Corey live on location this week to discuss his plans for bringing racing back to North Wilkesboro Speedway. Mr Collins has guaranteed a race at the North Wilkesboro Speedway this up coming week end with only two weeks of promotion for the event and hardly any renovations completed at the facility. Mr Collins was the creator of the reality TV show “Women, So Ya Think You Can Race” but flamed out before it got started. CE Falk from Norfolk, VA will also join the crew live on location to discuss his awesome start to the 2009 racing season. Falk is enrolled at UNC Charlotte located in Charlotte, NC and travels to Langley Speedway and South Boston Speedway to compete on the weekends. Falk picked up another win last Saturday night at Langley Speedway.

Coulter started 8th and finished 2nd at Mansfield in his Darrell Gwynn Foundation-Tempest Cycles Chevrolet. Doc and Alan will connect with U-Car driver Robert Archer from Clayton, NC. However, Doc, Alan & Tony WILL be on location at the Victory Lane Indoor Karting Center taping this week’s episode of Kickin’ Asphalt. Joining us this week on location will be the top 3 finishers of the exciting Dwight Huffman Memorial race that took place at the Hickory Motor Speedway. Matt McCall from Denver, NC qualified on the front row and accepted the challenge to start from the rear to potentially win a large cash bonus should he pass the field to win the race. McCall won the race and took home $14,014 for his efforts. Paddy Rodenbeck earned the pole and finished 2nd and local HMS hot shoe David Wilson finished 3rd. Matt DiBenedetto originally from Grass Valley, CA will join us on location to discuss his racing future with Joe Gibbs Racing and talk about his exciting finishes in NASCAR’s Camping World East Series this season. DiBenedetto now lives in Hickory, NC with his family and was signed by Joe Gibbs Racing last winter. Late model Stock car veteran Davin Scites originally from Wayne, WVU now racing out of Mooresville, NC will join Doc and Alan on location for some bench racing and to discuss his 2009 racing plans and beyond. Scites has earned top qualifying honors the past 2 years at the Bailey’s 300 LMSC race at the Martinsville Speedway. Scites broke the LMSC track record last year with a lap of 20.316 seconds at 93.207 miles per hour. UARA-STARS 2nd year diver Brandon McReynolds from Mooresville, NC finished 3rd at tour stop #8 at the Lonesome Pine Raceway located in Coeburn, VA. Controversy surrounded his motor during post race inspections and was disqualified from the event. McReynolds DQ was overturned following an appeals meeting with UARA-STARS officials. McReynolds will join Doc and Alan on location to discuss how all that came together and look ahead at the next tour stop this Friday July 17th at the Tri-County Motor Speedway located in Hudson, NC.
Jay Fogleman from Durham, NC will join the Kickin’ Asphalt crew to talk about his second season racing with the Pro All Star Series. Fogleman won his first PASS South race last year at Newport Speedway located in Newport, TN. Currently Fogleman is 6th in PASS South points with 2 victories, 5 top 10’s and had led 151 laps in 8starts in 2009. Fogleman and the PASS South series will return to Newport Speedway this Saturday July 18th for a full night of racing. Devin Jones from Mooresville, NC will visit with Doc and Alan on location to discuss his rookie season racing with the PASS South series. Jones is currently 13th in overall points with only entering 5 of the 8 events thus far in the 2009 season. Jones has raced to 1 top 5 and 2 top 10’s

Yontz is the only driver in LMSC racing history to win a LMSC race at the Bristol Motor Speedway and Martinsville Speedway.
2004 UARA-STARS Champion Jason York from Reidsville, NC will visit Doc and Alan to discuss his racing plans in 2009 and look back at last year’s incredible finish in the UARA-STARS event at Ace Speedway. York will return to Ace Speedway this week end to compete with the UARA-STARS. York has 3 career UARA victories and is the defending champ of the biggest LMSC event on the planet, the Bailey’s 300 at the Martinsville Speedway located in Martinsville, VA.

USARacing Pro Cup race winner Brandon Ward from Winston-Salem, NC will drop in to chat about his 1st victory of the 2009 racing season. Ward, 2007 rookie of the year for the series has raced to 5 top 5’s in 10 starts for the 2009 season and was 3rd in points headed into the event. At 13 years of age, Elliott became the youngest winner in PASS Super Late Model history. Elliott will also talk about his success in Pro Late Models where he has three wins thus far in 2009.
Jamey Caudill from Four Oaks, NC calls in to Doc & Alan to chat about his 13th career win in the UARA-STARS Late Model Tour. Caudill is currently second in UARA-STARS Late Model points and closed the gap between himself and points leader Matt McCall with his win at Newport (TN) Speedway.
Brandon Ward from Winston-Salem, NC will sit down with Doc & Alan to chat about his emotional USA Racing win at Langley (VA) Speedway. Brandon’s dad, Rick, will also join us to update his condition after suffering a heart attack in the pits at Langley just over a week ago.
NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Crew Chief David Hyder will check in with Doc & Alan on the Racing Electronics Hot Line. Currently, Hyder is the Crew Chief of #21 Motorcraft Ford owned by the Wood Brothers and driven by Bill Elliott. 2008 UARA-STARS Champion Jake “The Snake” Crum from Statesville, NC will join Doc & Alan live on location to discuss his huge victory in the 2009 Bailey’s 300 at the Martinsville Speedway located in Martinsville, VA. Crum just turned 18 on Friday October 2nd and just may be the youngest winner of this prestigious event (still researching). Crum was locked into the feature by turning the 11 fastest time in qualifying and wowed the crowd as he raced at the front of the pack much of the day before fending off Brandon McReynolds at the checkered flag with a margin of victory at only .223 of a second. Joining Crum will be winning crew chief, BJ Mackie from Rock Hill, SC along with crew members from the team. Mad Industry was added as a sponsor on Sunday morning and Marshal Zalewski from Mad Industry will join in on the discussion as well.
Robert Elliot from Hampton, SC will join the show via the Racing Electronics Hot Line for a special announcement. Elliot is a fierce competitor in the Late Model Stock Car racing scene around South Carolina. Elliott earned track championships at Summerville Speedway and Florence Motor Speedway. Elliott also was the 1995 winner of the Myrtle Beach 250.

McReynolds qualified 9th out of 83 drivers that took time in qualifying and finished 2nd in the feature. We will also look ahead at the next tour stop on October 18th for the UARA-STARS at the Hickory Motor Speedway located in Newton, NC.
Siblings Tiff and Cliff Daniels from Smithfield, VA will stop by live on location to discuss their experience at the 2009 Bailey’s 300 at Martinsville. Tiff was the spotter for her brother and was a huge part of the live coverage of qualifying on RaceTalkRadio.com serving as co-host with the Kickin’ Asphalt crew. Cliff turned in the 31st fastest time in qualifying which placed him starting 3rd in the 1st heat race. Cliff finished 2nd in his heat race which placed him 27th of the 42 car field that would make up the starting grid for the 2009 Bailey’s 300. Cliff went on to finish 6th in the feature which was the highest finish for any driver who transferred to the feature thru the 4 heat races.

With that 3rd place finish Lofton claimed the crown by only 5 points over rookie sensation Parker Klingerman. Lofton raced to 6 victories and earned 15 top 5 finishes.

Kligerman earned the Rookie of the Year title and raced to 9 victories with 14 top 5 finishes. Clay Rogers from Mooresville, NC will sit down with Doc & Alan live on location to discuss his 5th USARacing Pro Cup Series victory of the season at the Rockingham Speedway. Rogers dominated the event leading 108 laps of the 150 laps that made up the event. Rogers 2004 and 2006 series champion holds a 45 point lead over JP Morgan as the series heads to the final race of the season October 31 at the South Boston Speedway located in South Boston, VA.
Coleman Pressley from Asheville, NC will drop in live on location with Doc & Alan to discuss his huge victory in the Fall Brawl at the Hickory Motor Speedway located in Newton, NC. This past weekend, the South Boston Speedway in South Boston, VA, hosted the Mason Dixon Meltdown. The race was split into two, 250 laps races for the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Late Model Stock Cars and the PASS South Super Late Models. Late Model Stock winner Eddie Johnson and newly crowned PASS National Champion Ben Rowe will join us via the Racing Electronics Hotline. Eddie is a former two-time winner at the Martinsville Speedway, while Ben is a four-time PASS North Series champion.
Coleman Pressley from Asheville, NC will drop in live on location with Doc & Alan to discuss another huge victory in the Banjo Matthews Memorial 150 at the Hickory Motor Speedway located in Newton, NC. Ward ended the season on a high note for Mac Hill Racing with a strong 2nd place finish in the USARacing Pro Cup season finale at the South Boston Speedway. Jamey Caudill was once again in the title hunt but came up 46 points short this year allowing Matt McCall to capture the crown for the 2nd time in his career. McCall split the UARA season between two different Pistone LTO cars, the #23 Denver Marine/Performancenter Chevy owned by Tom Pistone and the #51 “I Dig Pigs” Ford owned by Jerry Moody. McCall earned 4 Sunoco pole awards, 4 victories, 10 top 10 finishes and led 633 laps on the season.
Doc & Alan will connect with Coleman “Stroker” Pressley from Asheville, NC on the Racing Electronics Hot Line to discuss his dramatic victory in the UARA-STARS season finale last Saturday night at the Concord Speedway located in Concord, NC. Pressley led the final 19 laps to claim his 2nd tour victory in 2009. Pressley finished the season 4th in the overall points standings with 1 Sunoco Pole, 2 Victories, 5 Top 5 and 11 top 10 finishes on the season.
Doc & Alan will connect with Paul Kelly from Pendergrass, GA on the Racing Electronics Hot Line to discuss his 4th World Crown 300 victory. Kelly previously claimed the crown in 2001, 2006 & 2007. The 2009 World Crown 300 was the inaugural race at the newly renovated Gresham Motor Sports Park located in Jefferson, GA (formally Peach State Speedway). Lucas Ransone from Madison, NC will join Doc & Alan live on location at VLK to chat about his huge victory this past week end at the 17th annual Myrtle Beach 400 for the NASCAR Whelen All American Late Model Stock Cars at the Myrtle Beach Speedway located in Myrtle Beach, SC. The race started Sunday November 22nd but Mother Nature halted the racing action on lap 43. The race would resume and finish Saturday November 28th. Ransone overcame an early incident on lap 21 to stay in contention for the win. Ransone never led the event until turn 4 on the last lap of a green, white, checkered run to the finish. Ransone raced full time in the USAR Pro Cup Series in 2009 and raced to the Rookie of the year honors with 1 victory 3 top 5 and 8 top 10 finishes.
Doc and Alan will dial up Matt McCall from Denver, NC and Alex Yontz from Walnut Cove , NC on the Racing Electronics Communications Hot-Line for both drivers to share details on their Myrtle Beach 400 experience. McCall led 32 laps and finished 3rd at the checkered flag but failed the post race inspection and was disqualified to the 43rd finishing position. Yontz qualified outside front row during time trials on Saturday November 21st but before the 1st heat race was run he found himself lined up in the last row in heat race #3 on Sunday November 22nd.
Langley Austin, Executive Editor Race22.com will chime in to put his spin on the Myrtle Beach 400. Austin and his staff was live at the track every day throughout the event, both week ends.

Andy Mercer from Gastonia, NC will visit Doc & Alan live on location to look back at his championship season at the Hickory Motor Speedway located in Newton, NC. Mercer racked up 14 victories with 19 top 5 finishes in 21 starts. Mercer turned heads at the Myrtle Beach 400 by leading the most laps (76) and finished 3rd in his 1st ever trip to the Myrtle Beach Speedway.
Doc & Alan will connect with Justin Johnson from Roxboro, NC on the Racing Electronics Communication Hot-Line. Johnson earned his 1st LMSC track championship at the South Boston Speedway located in South Boston, VA racing out of the Frank Deiny JR Motorsports shop. Johnson finished his championship season with 2 victories 14 top 5 finishes in 21 starts. Mercer currently has 40 career LMSC victories and 47 career LMSC poles since his 1st LMSC start in 2006.
Brennan Poole from The Woodlands, TX will drop by to chat with Doc & Alan about his rookie season racing with the UARA-STARS. Poole earned the 2009 rookie of the year award and racked up 2 top 5 and 6 top 10 finishes on the season and in the season finale he finished a career best, 2nd place at the Concord Speedway located in Concord, NC. Poole now 18 years old has seen success every step of the way thus far and has raced in 19 different States and 57 different tracks competing in the legend cars, dirt modifieds and now LMSC’s.
Doc & Alan will connect with Adam Hull from Mt. Airy, NC on the Racing Electronics Communication Hot-Line to chat about his 2009 championship season racing his 1967 Camaro with the Classic Gear Jammers on the drag strips around the Carolina’s. Hull picked up a win at the Wilkesboro Raceway Park located in Wilkesboro, NC in a much needed victory towards the end of the year and claimed the title by only 2 points. The entire top 10 finishing positions in the final championship point’s standings were separated by only 85 points.
Stand out crew chief Nick Hutchins from Mooresville, NC will check in with Doc & Alan on the Racing Electronics Communication Hot-Line to talk about his new opportunity with Team Grissom. Starting this week Hutchins will step in as crew chief for UARA-STARS veteran Kyle Grissom. Team Grissom will once again race with the UARA-STARS in 2010. With in the past 2 racing seasons as a crew chief in the UARA-STARS Hutchins has racked up a Championship in 2008 with Jake Crum, 3rd in the final championship point standings in 2009 with Brandon McReynolds, 5 victories, 4 poles, 856 laps led and 17 top 5 finishes.

Doc & Alan will call up Hal Martin from New Orleans, Louisiana on the Racing Electronics Communication Hot-Line to discuss his plans for 2010. Martin has asserted himself as a hot commodity in stock car racing. Martin had a strong entry into the ARCA series this year, with just three starts. Martin threw down an eleventh place finish in his first ARCA series race at Mansfield, then went on to turn heads at Chicagoland Speedway in August where he started thirty-third and blazed through the field to finish third. Martin closed out his ARCA season with a top ten finish at Kansas, which attracted the attention of Venturini Motorsports. Hal will be testing in Daytona December 19th and plans to race in the ARCA race and Camping World Truck Series at Daytona.
