Located, appropriately, on 'Race Track Road' is the remains of the Jacksonville Speedway. NASCAR Grand Nationals division raced at least twice, 1957 and 1964, but the speedway played host to weekly modified-sportsman, and hobby divisions in its on-again/off-again existence. In its last season, 1964, the track was hailed as the "International" Speedway in Jacksonville.

I had heard rumors of this place. I work in jacksonville. I have been by there thousands of times and never knew thats where it use to be. Gotta get by there and check it out!:roll:
