Rimer/Rimertown Speedway

I remember hearing people talk about a track they called Rimertown. There is a community East of Kannapolis, NC. This track would have operated early to mid 70s. Anyone heard of this one?:confuzeld::DJ:

Hey! Check this out! Just north of Rimertown on Old Beatty Ford Rd between Phaniel Church Rd and Birtwick Rd. Looks like they are building houses but the layout for the road looks pretty familar!!!

wow that is pretty cool for sure!! real neat the street is layed out on the old track.....good find. amazing whats under your nose, miles from home and you dont even know.......

Hey. Thanks for posting the link didn't know how to do it! Lived here my whole life never heard of the track really surprise me when I saw it ! Need to find some more info on this place!! I used Maps USA it shows a house built in turn 2 now

I dont think so fellas, that is not the old Rimer track. Wrong county. I checked the old aerials.
