Since we're are on the topic of Harnett County Speedway...here's the photo (again) of Herb Thomas, the one and only winner in the Grand Nationals at Harnett. That's Herb drinking his victory Coke with the door ajar.

Harnett County is back in the news...today's ghost track trackers uncover Spring Lake's lost jewel, Harnett County Speedway off of Buddy Barefoot rd. complete with turns, straight-away, wall and grand stands, with a possible ghost in the infield, we could hear the muffled roar of the crowd as the last car growls across the finish-line.

Bobby, the wall and grand stands really brought this ghost out of the closet. Like I said at the track, we should have took a picture of us sitting in the stands and pointing towards turn 4 and nobody would have known we weren't rootin' for ol' Herb in the Fabulour Hudson Hornet.
Oh, and the trespassing was fun too!
