There has been much controversy the last year or so between Hoosier and American "Racers".

What it all comes down to is quality control.

If you can get a tire that you like - that your car likes - that stays consistent tire to tire. That is the one that you should buy.

I guess I am a little like my dad. If you get a good one - you buy a whole bunch and keep them as long as you can.

Two years ago - I liked the Hoosier D - 03's. Just that since American Racers as home based 20 miles from my house, And that they sponsor most of the tracks around here. I don't know what the track gets. But when you win a feature = you get a decal for your car.

One year they gave all the top drivers a new racing suit for free. Shawn "Sheetz" McGarvey is the only one I know that still wears his.

From what Ive seen American Racers are tha best tire at CLR anyway helping Allen out not to be knocking Hoosiers down though. If I could run tires like that I would run American racers but in my class u gotta run street tires.
