I agree with you Sundi but man, he done said H-O-O-S-I-E-R T-I-R-E-S-. And I done got a bunch of em. And I dont think I can use up all my tires in a couple races. I aint got nothing against Goodyears, heck I'd run bicycle tires if thats what they said to run, BUT STICK TO WHAT YOU SAY TO START WITH. Damn John Carry bought the track. But, thats fine. I'll find some Goodyears. No problem. I aint never run em but I hear their good tires. Yall gonna be at the car show?

This is what I found on Goodyear's site. Lets see what tires he says he is going to run. There appears to be some options.

Spoke with Bobby today. He said their were options avaiable for the Stock Four division. He listed something like G40, G45, G50, and G 60 for that divison. He said the other divisions would be running G 30, G45 and G 50. Rules should be updated on the website and to call him at the track with any questions. He also said that he was going to be getting a big order ready and for anyone wanting tires to give the track a call. 336-427-0816.

We heard that he first said Goodyears in the stock four because he could get a better deal on them than what he could in the Hoosiers... come to find out, he didn't realize what size wheel we was on. So then he went back to square one about the stock four tires....haven't heard any "new" news about it since Saturday. Like dawg, it hate it for those that already have the Hoosiers but we don't have any good tires and gonna have to buy some no matter what they decide to run.

As far as the stock four wheels/tires go, I would love to see them do away with the big wheels - even though we have like 20+ of them. No where else runs them and with them sticking out from under the cars, they are just not safe! Just my 2 cents.....

I Agree With Kim On This..the Smaller Wheels Are Safer..ive Run Several Other Tracks And They Run Them,,,better Side By Side Racing With "out" Wheels And Tires Touching.....dawg

Well I talked to Bobby the other Sat. morning at the track and I told him that if he didnt stop changing his mind about everything that nobody would be there. The only thing he could brag about was that 60 u-cars was going to be there. That is fine but, he needs to take care of all the other drivers and tell them what to run. If he is like this on tires how will he be on the rules???

You can run ANY Hoosier D11 for the first 4 races at Oak. After that they can not be cut or sipped. That is for Late models and super street. The 4 cylinder cars can run ANY 10" or 8" tire they want to run. Hoosiers, American Racer, or Goodyears.
