Bobby,i don't remember a mustang either but i do remember that 64 ford he got from the Ned Jarrett stable. Really,i don't think he ever had a mustang...! But hey,i don't know everything........!!

I would like a lil more detail on the location,cause hwy 38 runs about 20 miles from Bennettsville to Hamlet..!! Several brick houses on the left in that distance!!!!! LOL!!

That's what I remember, Kenny. The '64 Ford ex-Ned Jarrett/Bondy Long NASCAR racer. Tommy even had the cab-over truck to haul it with. But, he might have had the Mustang later on, don't know.

Kenny not many WHITE BRICK HOUSE. From Benntsville its right past a fire dept thats on the right House on left .00 I did not think tommy drove a Mustang . but was told this my people in the area .

That'd be Bob Welborn from Denton, NC, one of the best rag-top racers around. Here's race winner Bob Welborn at Bowman-Gray stadium 1958 race #19. Bob won 4 more times in 58' including Martinsville.

Last time I saw Tommy Bostick was about 1973......pavement racing at Mytle Beach. He had another ex Holman-Moody '71 Torino. Roy 'Wild Indian' Tyner was with him that night and Roy got in a big fight with Sam Sommers. Sommers wound up the the hospital and Tyner was barred from NASCAR, don't know if he ever got back in or not.

tommy drove a 61 ford for b.k barrow out of bville when they bought the 64 from bondy long tommy went to # 33 and edmound blue started driving the 61 with the #3 tommy drove for jay asbill in 78 79 and 80 thats the last i remember him driving

im going to check this car out today sunday jan 11 the last time i talked to roy tyner he was in dillon with the 11 and 12 cars of jr johnson that waltrip and neil bonnett were driving right after that they found him in the truck dead and the truck was on fire i can tell you several tryner stories that happened in dillon county when he lived here

Yea Jim it is Fri and Sat. looks like I may be going up Sat. with the wife, if you guys go up fri. I might ride up with ya'll. 1pm-9pm Fri and 8am-5pm Sat. Just confirmed those times with the email I recieved from them.

The car belongs to Garland Huckabee. The brick house is his mother's house. He runs a used car lot in Bennettsville. Me and my dad cosidered buying it a fews years back but it was not what we wanted. The number to Garland's car lot is (843)-479-8464. He might could give some information on it or might still be interested in selling. It has been sitting there since I can recall and that has been a while.
