The FASTRAK 4 cylinder NATIONAL WEEKLY CHAMPIONSHIP continues to gain momentum as Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat VA becomes the 2nd track in the nation to join up for the $3000 to win 4 Cylinder NATIONAL WEEKLY CHAMPIONSHIP. More than 14 other tracks across the nation have expressed sincere interest and packages have been sent to them accordingly. Announcements will continue to be made as contracts come in.
Teams from across the nation will be competing against each other for the coveted crown as the 4 cylinder National Champion will also cross the stage at the FASTRAK National Points Banquet held every year in Nashville TN. along with NATIONAL WEEKLY CHAMPIONS from Front wheel drives, Street Stocks, Modifeds, Sprint Cars, Crate Late Models and Super Late Model classes.
Teams will count their best 12 finsihes toward the points with ties broken by 1st, 2nd's and so forth until a true champion can be dertermined. All points will be posted on a weekly basis on the FASTRAK Corporate website so competitors can see exactly where they are on a week to week basis.
Teams will utilize their local track rules allowing them to compete for the Championship without obsoleting any of their equipment. The FASTRAK National Weekly Champioship is set up for a points championship rather than a governing body.
