4 Cylinder Rules
1. Competing models any 1960 and up with a maximum 103’’ wheelbase. No jeeps station wagons, convertibles, or trucks.
2. All cars must have complete bodies, hood, fenders, bumpers, in top quality condition. After market bodies allowed with 50lbs added to the right side.
3. All cars including Toyota, Nissan, and Honda minimum weight 2300lbs.
4. Engines must remain in stock location. No rear engine or rotary engines allowed. 2300cc with .060 max over bore maximum except when approved by speedway such as gm 151ci. Over size oil pan allowed. Stock intake required. No porting or polishing, port matching or grinding of any cylinder head or intake allowed. Flat tappet camshaft and spring kit allowed. Valve lift optional. Stock size valves only. Adjustable cam gears allowed. Stock crankshaft required. Only solid magnetic steel rods allowed. 5.7’’ maximum rod length. Flat top pistons only with 3 rings.
5. Clutch and flywheel must be stock. May run solid hub disc for safety. Flywheel minimum weight 16 lbs.
6. Exhaust system standard type headers allowed 4 into 1 collector.
7. Carburetors, holley 2300 two-barrel model # 7448 or 4412 allowed. May also run the stock carburetor for the make of car. No fuel injection allowed.
8. Electric system only one 12-volt battery allowed. Stock ignition system only.
9. Fuel system, fuel cell is mandatory. Stock type fuel system only. There must be a steel firewall sealing off the fuel cell from the drivers compartment. Must have a 2.5 lbs fire extinguisher with gauge minimum with in reach of the driver.
10. All cars will be allowed to use a nonadjustable rear spoiler 5’’ tall no wider than trunk lid.
11. Stock frames only. Unitized frames may be tied together with tubing.
12. Suspension, all control arms front and rear must remain in stock location. May run racing springs with screw jacks. Shocks may be aftermarket but still have to be in stock location.
13. Transmission and rear end must remain from manufacturers line. Example ford car ford transmission and rear end. No quick-change rear ends allowed.
14. Stock brakes only. Must work on all four wheels.
15. Tires open but must not be larger than 24’’ dia. And 8’’ wide maximum rim width 8’’ same offset on all four.
16. Roll cage, minimum 4 point required. Minimum 1.5’’ 0.95 steel tubes only. Full roll cage recommended. Must use an approved racing seat, window net and belts.
17. No reading between the lines if not covered above, must remain stock as interpreted by track inspectors.
