Hello Race Fans! Thought I would give everyone a quick update on DRJ and the upcoming weeks:
I can tell all of you that I have alot more respect for drivers/owners since we've been working on the DRJ race car. What a job.......every night, every Saturday, and lets not mention my work list at home. We have the car ready for paint and should be taking it to the paint shop on Monday or Tuesday in Lumberton. Once paint is completed, I'll take it to the graphic shop in Fayetteville. If all goes well, we should have it ready by Nov 15 for the Fayetteville race. We will not be racing the car this season, but will have it at the track for everyone to see and will race it in 2009. I don't want to even think about it getting banged on for the first time, but I know that's racing and will have to accept it. I have listed the following dates that we have scheduled. Nov 15's race at Fayetteville, we will be assisting in taking up a donation for MIKE DUVALL, FLINTSTONE FLYER. He is scheduled for surgery on Nov 21 and will be out of work for 2-3 months. If you can, be sure to help us out with a donation.....I know that Mike and his wife will appreciate it. We will be doing the same at the Thanksgiving race at Dublin also.
Nov 8....tentatively scheduled for Hammerdown Speedway
Nov 15..scheduled for Fayetteville Motor Speedway
Nov 28/29...scheduled for Dublin Motor Speedway
I am placing a order for DRJ T-shirts for the Thanksgiving Race at Dublin. If anyone is interested in purchasing one, pm me with size.......I'm not ordering a large number due to the end of the season.
