The 2009 season of the Rolling Thunder Modifieds will draw to a close this weekend at Ace Speedway. Although the season is winding down, the quest for the Series Championship is far from it. Aubrey Thurston leads Doug Paasch by a mere 50 points, followed by AJ Winstead a distant third by 120 points. This final race is a double-points race so anything can (and usually will) happen so either one of these drivers could walk away with the title.
