If race is rained out Saturday will there be a one day show Sunday?:cool_shades:

In the past, There has been talk, that if a race is rained out on Saturday, they will race on Sunday starting at noon time, because of an agreement with a local church that there will be no racing on Sunday until 12:00 after Sunday services. If this happens, its going to be a long Sunday afternoon and night. But in the pass Hagerstown makes every effort to get the track in shape and race ready. I have seen it rain until 11:00 Saturday morning and race Saturday afternoon. When we race there you always bring 3 or so bales of straw to throw down in your pits, because of the RED mud in the pits.

my buddy that is going with us called the track and they said if its rained out saturday, the whole event will be rescheduled. that is rediculous. run the whole thing sunday. all the drivers and teams and fans are already there. not to mention the long distances some of them travel to get there. i know some of them wouldnt come back. afterall, can you really have an octoberfest in november???????? have the whole show in one day!!!!

On Saturdays when they start on time, they are done usually by 6:30! So why not run the whole thing on Sunday? Get finished at 6;30-7pm wiuth heats and consi's go strait to main events.

But since so many teams will already be there, and we have a hotel room paid for untill Monday morning, they probably will cancel it and we spend the whole weekend in a hotel room....
