Here's a classic for ya.
The 444 was driven by Charlie Shoudt at Nazareth and Harmony, sportsman feature winner at both tracks(although the owner's son tells me that he's not sure if this is the car he won with at Harmony, but definitely at Nazareth). Was owned by Harry Liechliter and Carl Rodenbach,Upper Black Eddy,Pa. The truck was owned by Warren Wetzel and his brother. They own the original 6jr Mushroom Special 37 Ford Coupe. The 444 is not one of the Mushroom Special cars. The truck is the original hauler.

Car #: #88 Drivers :
Hoss Kagle
Location: Vineland
Date: 1961
Photographer: William Curley
Photo provided by: Russ Dodge
Comments: Comment from Russ: NASCAR's Eastern Late Model Division ran a 100 lap race at Vineland Speedway on April 30, 1961. This William Curley photo shows the #88, driven by Hoss Kagle leading the #11, driven by fellow Maryland driver Ed Lindsay.
Short track champ Jim Reed won the feature and collected $515.00 first place money. Hoss finished 5th while Ed Lindsay wound up 14th. Hoss's younger brother Reds Kagle, finished second to Reed's 1961 Chevy, with his 1960 Ford Starliner. Reds drove the Chrysler Hemi powered modified #141 at Vineland when the track was still dirt.

I'm surprised at how much you know about the car and hauler, very interesting.
