Vintage Race/Pace Cars

It's only an idea, at this point, but the concept of using vintage race cars as pace cars for the upcoming Thanksgiving race at Dublin is being considered. It could be done with just one old racer, but it's been suggested that a different vintage racer be used for each race! That's a pretty cool idea, IMO, as the old racers wouldn't simply be on display, they'd be part of the action, performing in their true enviornment. Don't know how many are "out there" that would be interested, and again, it's only an idea at this point. But, if this concept rings a bell with any of you old timers, let's kick it around some more. It'd be fun, add a lot to the overall show, and I think the fans would really enjoy this addition. Whatty'all think?

You can count me in!
A lot of folks recognized the #300 Earl Moss Plymouth at FMS on the photo display Saturday "That's Earl Moss' car!!!" They didn't realize the photo was a present day photo. Their eyes lit up when I told them that car was restored in the Earl Moss paint scheme.
Should have good weather for Saturday's event at Orange county.

Great idea! Not that I'd recognize any of them, but those old cars are neat. Can't say as I've ever seen anything like that done before, but what a great idea.

He would be more interested to run an exhibition than a pace car but I will run it past him anyhow, he just might.
While at FMS I was asked why I don't go out a run the track the track with the other cars...hmmm....I'd like to do that.
Here's an idea...since my car is basically a blank white car what you think if I had one of those car wraps with a speedways logo on it for marketing? I think that would be a great marketing tool, of course I would need some kind of compensation for the advertising.
