What's the backup plan in case of weather? I'm hoping to make it up Saturday, but the weather doesn't look promising. If Friday's rained out, what then?

Also, how hard is it to get from the pits to the stands?

I have those same questions myself. I'm gonna call the track tomorrow and see what their plan is, They have good seats on the outside pits. But you need to get there early and save your spot.

If there is a rain out for Friday, the events will most likely be moved from Fri/Sat to Sat/Sun. If it is rained out on Fri/Sat, they will run everything on Sunday.

The grandstands are located on the opposite site from the pits. Here is a picture of the track. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r96/purplerose22603/WinchesterSpeedwayAerial.jpg

As of right now I wont be going.

I think the best seat is on the pitside, and yes get there very very early.

Weather wise, not sure if I'll make it up there either. 3.5 hour trip up and 3.5 hour trip home makes Sunday (unless it's run during the day) pretty much out of the question.
