Both of them are great and you really can't tell the difference too awful much between the two.

Saw the Back in Black tour in 1980...Brian was smacking a 2000 lb bell with a sledge hammer to start Hell's Bells. That night was crazy!!!!!!

I would have loved to have heard that. That song's beginning is freakin' awesome.

I favor Brian simply because Back in Black was the first LP that I ever bought. I remember to this day buying Back in Black and Molly Hatchet's Flirtin' with Disaster when I was around 11 years old.

Looking back, after spending several years playing in metal and rock bands, none of the bands that I played with did AC / DC covers because we never had a singer that could effectively pull off the vocals.

Aother poll that I'm somewhat surprised by. But looking at all the responses, I seem to be on of the older ones on this thread (not counting the other old farts out there). Most people started out with Brian, and only seem to know Bon as the first guy. Me, I started out with Bon, which means that when he died, Brian just became his replacement, and you can never truly replace Bon Scott.

And for those that said they sound alike, I say WHA???? Not even close, by my ears. Bon Scott has such a singular voice and no one comes close. Brian Johnson, on the other hand, sounds more like the singer from Nazareth (listen especially to the No Mercy album)

Nothing will ever come close to High Voltage, or Powerage, or any of the bon Scott albums.

But then, I guess seeing a killer stripper could sway your decision a little:36hq:

No comparison. Brian is good ... but Bon had the Big Balls as far as I'm concerned!
