View Full Version : North Carolina Dirt Track Championship

Just wanted to let the local dirt track drivers and fans know in the final stages of planning is a huge 4 day event at FMS on October 5-8. I believe that there are going to be 10 classes of racing over the 4 days, Super Late Models, Steel Head Late Models, Crate Late Models, Sportsman, Open Wheel Modifides, Super Street, Stock v-8, Bombers, 4 cyl Mods, and stock 4's.

There will be a flyer with rules,purse, and registration info handed out at the Walker auction at the fairgrounds on Jan 20 & 21 with more information. I know also there is going to be a website where you can obtain this information. The website is not up and running yet, but should be online very soon.

I will pass along more information as it becomes available to me.

Is this a sure thing? From what I have been told the folks that lease FMS have no knowledge of the 4 day event in October.....Then again maybe they don't want all the info out just yet! Anyone get a flyer?

I'm glad to hear about this race. I had also heard that it was just a big rumor. Glad to know its really true!
