Bingo Newcomer!!! and yes it is taken at Daytona 1977 the year George Elliott bought the ride from Roger Penske and put young Bill in at the wheel.

Next question...who drove this car in 1976 as the #2?

I would say yes to the easy part. When I put my cursor on the picture, it showed me the file name. Bill Elliott. lol

Nope, but not only the name, but with the number 8 kinda makes for a easy guess.

I was at Caraway Speedway that day with Butch Lindley we were parked two pits down from Dale .
