It would be nice to get a wrap period. All the supers probably have wraps already. Why does it seem like when you already have something people just give you more of what you already have. Instead they should give something to somebody that has nothing. JMO

Well I believe Fayetteville dont get a flying thing about the support classes. I called Larry and asked what was the deal about cars coming in this week that wasnt last week. Answer was they have to start in the back. Pretty screwed up if you ask me but it didnt phase him a bit to tell me. Last time I was down and they raced on sunday. Didnt get any of us practice laps. Just get in the car and go. Proven facts right there

Start in the back Buddy. By the time its all said and done if you get there early enough you will probably start between 10th and 15th. You have to remember all those cars that showed up last week will probably not be there. They only showed for the big money.

What would be really screwed up is the track qualifying and running heats for 3-4 support classes on the same night as a World of Outlaws event. For a track that doesn't give a "flying thing" about it's support classes, they sure did attract a heck of a lot of them last week: http://www.fayettevillemotorspeedway.net/results.php

They attracted about 15 pure stock cars and about 10 more cautions!!
Not cuttin them short either but there is a difference between about half the field IMO.

what if all the suppurt classes stay home friday night and see how it will hurt the track(any track)... SURE WE COME TO WATCH THE SUPER AND PAY OUR PIT MONEY TO RACE BUT IT ALWAYS SEEM TO ME THAT THE SUPPORT CLASSES DONT MATTER TO THE PROMOTOR..GO SUPER LATE--1 DAY SUPPORT CLASSES WILL BE THE ONLY THING ABLE TO RUN WEEKLY SHOWS..:Wicked:

It's ridiculous to assert that FMS doesn't care about "support" classes when they run them more than supers. Weekly racing is one thing and having a national touring series visit for one night is another. They are both important.

rb you are right about the support classes being important. it is very important to the track that we support classes pay the 40 dollars to get into the pits on a special night. it helps with the overhead. :10Cry::not_supers::dance_guy:

Our views and opinions do not fall into the bitchin category.
It is a fact that the track can make it without the SUPERS!
But the track can not make it without US so called "support" classes.

Pat/Jeff part of the promotiom team at FMS, so a promoter did post in this thread..........although he is not the one that said "DONT COME", my statement was addressing the ignorance of the post that said just dont come.

Yes he did. He posted a special award for a special event. I belivie all the post mostly in this thread are somewhat ignorant. I don't believe that FMS feels as bad about the support classes as some have said. Also Haven't they had special races for all divisions or either scheduled to? Friday night will be the biggest night of the year, the stands will be packed and sorry folks but it will be to see the supers on this particular night.
Sorry if I not intelligent enough to comprehend your post, but to a layman was hard to understand the comment of two promoters comments and track closing, when the only post by a promoter in this thread was a very positive announcement.:sad4:

Yea no promotor here but y complain about bs like this i think the ucar, young guns and the howard bass super stocks should b lucky there even on the card and they didnt kick yall 2 the curb i personally think it takes more time to run 15 laps than it does to run 100 SLM laps
Posted via Mobile Device
If they didn't have them on the card, who is going to roll the track in? Last few BIG races at FMS I've been to, these are the ones that rolled the track in for the Supers and then tried to race when it was too wet.....many of these drivers know what I'm talking about

Charlie didn't state anything about a promotor posting on this thread. He was making a statement to where he knows of promotors telling drivers "if you don't like it, don't come back!" I happen to know one track he's talking about. It's the one that no one can seem to lease.

after i saw this post yesterday, my first thought was "well d*mn, how 'bout that".... i mean its NOT like the WoO teams dont already have people giving them wraps.. now i'm gonna say something tomorrow, will it change anything? NOPE. will it stop me from going to the track because some "outside" business wants to give something to the winner? ummm NOPE.
if it was Fayetteville Motor Speedway giving the wrap to the winner, it would be a little more of a touchy subject.

Totally agree with Greg. These guys are given wraps or buy them at a way discounted price.
Maybe they should just cancel the show to keep everyone happy.
