:prayer1: Hello Race Fans! Hope everyone enjoyed another weekend of great racing. I don't think the rain snuck in anywhere. I visited/worked the pit area at Dublin on Friday night and had some great conversations with some of the drivers. Racing was pretty good plus there was a little extra show on the side. DRJ had to cnx our visit to Hammerdown on Sat nite due to a afternoon funeral, but we are looking forward to rescheduling.
We purchased a new tent to replace the one destroyed by the wind storm last weekend at Lake View. The owner told me that the winds got up to 70 mph and I believe it. Trailer and supplies have been cleaned/reorganized and we are ready for another weekend of racing. Plans are to return to Lake View on Sat nite and County Line Raceway the following week.
DRJ QUOTE OF THE WEEK - GEOFF BODINE
"TOUGH TIMES ARE THE LORD'S WAY OF TEACHING US TO BE STRONG"
It's one of the oldest saying in sports: "When the going gets tough, the tough get going." We are going to see times that are tough. Old Man Trouble pays occasional visits to every track-nobody is exempt. We can be sure that when trouble arises, God remains faithful and can handle it. Remember - God is always near and is in control...just follow his leads.
