Lake Gaston~

me and a few friends are going to spend the weekend at Lake Gaston this weekend. I was curious to know if anyone had ideas of anything going on in that area? Dont say go to Clarys cuz the crowd I am going with doesnt do racing (ugh)... I wanted to do some fishing but not familiar with anything up that way. no much but fishing.. a few good bars and eating places. lakelake and grill... water view rest.

Do you already have a place to stay? If you are camping try Americamps they usually have something going on there, other than boating, drinking, fishing, and drinking, (did I mention drinking?) not much more to do..

my parent s usally go too goat island on the lake its a good place too hang out and stuff.

we are staying in a hotel at South Hill, VA... just trying to get some ideas... was trying to find a site about whats biting and what bait they are using, and looking for some weekend fun

fishing is good on most parts of the Lake, I am a Pea Hill Creek fan......go to Holly Grove Marina and they can tell you what's biting and where......
