Kinda puts a damper on the points deal with the Clash being at Wythe the 9th too:72xw:

Ya it does. It gives FMS a little competition. You have to look at some things too. WYTHE = MORE MONEY .. but is worth the cost of gas to travel to wythe? Might make some of the guys come to Fayetteville because it's a little closer, but that's probably just wishful thinking.

basically its which points can you afford to miss. Craig Shuffield has missed 2 race so far and if he misses another he is out of the championship running now Ricky Weeks can pick FMS or Clash cause Awsome One could take the lead at FMS but if he dont go to Wythe Rambo takes the points lead but they would be even when the chase starts cause of there 3 wins its basically alot of figuring out read the clash championship series rules to understand it

I understand the deal on some guys can miss a race and still be OK in the points. But lets be real. If they really planned on paying that bonus (and they still may have to) you dont schedule two of the bonus events on the same date.:blue14:

and Virginia Motor Speedway the $10,000 to win race is not a points race its just who ever shows up gets 20 bonus points added but when the chase is reset if weeks or Rambo dont win at wythe or anymore races till the chase start they will be 1st with 3,030 points so never know

Good point JH but every Crazy 8,CLASH, and WoO races count towards FMS points and there is 5 more crazy 8 race so its going to be intresting

ultimately all but one race will count,if they still get to drop their worst finish.that being said,if rickey does go to wytheville this weekend,i do not think anyone can actually pass him.he would drop this race and still be leading,i think.his worse finish to this point is 3rd??

Hmm. didn't Fayetteville say they were racing next saturday? Isn't the clash running VMS? yet again another weekend of double scheduling.

So Weeks can miss one. But looking at the points if Smith or Gibbons miss one I would thank they would be done. Looks like the most swing it can be is 130 points which is alot.
