if i had the money I would BUY 311. That red clay is some of the best dirt around. The only thing is I would pick the rocks out of the track.

It is my understanding that the track has been sold again. But don't look for any racing in 2008.

That's all I will say. I'll let the appropriate parties make their announcements when they are ready.

I suspect this is old news already for those "in the know".

LOL Now everyone is gonna be hounding you for information. You shouldn't have let anyone know that you knew anything. Ya'll will just have to be patient!!! AGAIN... LOL

I ate at 311 tuesday and was very good, those ladies can cook a good hamburger. I hear that someone is buying the the note, maybe they can get the track going. I'm sure its a handfull for one person. Whoever it is I wish you lots of luck.

Why would Scoot Bloomquist buy a race track in North Carolina and he lives in Tennessee and has a plate full of racing and a builder of race cars ??????????

Less than a 100 miles difference between Tony and Eldora ann Scott and 311.

One to add to this one already, is I heard a Promoter left a track recently and is going to 311 to work and the track would reopen this year.

Fact, track has been sold... Striaght from Friddles mouth. Rumor.... who bought it? He wouldnt tell yet. But im thinking, and just speculation, with Hall leaving friendship, track being sold same time, Hall being in with Schrader.... Hmmmmmm one thing for sure. The BoOoB would be gone if Kenny got it after the little incident with them a couple years ago.,...
Just a thought.

bobby would not let him run his car with the tires that was on it..wanted him to buy tires from track.they loaded it back up after hot laps and left.

This was the only time I've seen Schrader act like this, he knew the tire rule when he came. Other teams offered tires to him so he could run without buying, but he would not do that. I can honestly say this was one of the times Bobby was right, he did what he had to do, made everyong follow the same rules.

Actually, he called the track and he may have spoke with boooooobby earlier that day and was told he could run his tires, along with other drivers also. I believe in stickin with the rules, but if a track official is the one that ok'd it, then he should have been the one packin up and leaving also... I believe an incident like this also left a knott on Booooobby's head one night also....

Schrader was allowed to run the wrong tires earlier in the year, and thought he could get away with it again. He may have been told something earlier in the day, but he knew the rule. Schrader laughed about it a few months afterward at Carolina Speedway, he knew he was wrong. If he was allowed to run those tires that night, they would have lost drivers that had supported 311 for more than 2 shows. As I said, this is one of the few calls he has made that was right.
