Hello From Iowa

Hello everyone,

Still out working in Iowa and missing all my friends. I have been able to see 2 races while I have been out here in Iowa. The first was in Independence, Iowa where I met a really nice driver "JILL GEORGE" who is a late model driver and an awesome person. The track had some remodeling done to due to the storms that had hit it and it really looked good. One thing missing tho "no RED clay"
Its all black dirt, the other changed i noticed when there is a caution they double file the line up except for the leader and he/she is out front. The second track I went to was in Boone, Iowa and they were going to have the CHUCK WAGON races which I have never seen but we got rained out there. They did some the little hobby stock which was awesome to watch. Hope all is well with everyone, sounds like the racing is doing good. Miss everyone and hope to see all soon.

Where I Iowa are you? I visit there every chance I get. If you are close to Burlington, which is in the S/E corner check out 34 Raceway. Alot of those tracks run the hobby stock class. I think most classes out there are IMCA so you can go to any track with out having to change anything. Well have fun and try to eat some of the sweet corn, it is AWESOME.

Im working in two counties of Franklin & Wright county.. the CORN is another story.. they tell me if I listen at night I can hear it grow and I believe it!!.. i have been to two track already and I love the Hobby stock racing...Meeting Jill George was really awesome at Independence Track. Hope to see everyone soon but doesnt look like it right now.

Jill George has nice stuff on her car and has $$$ backin her she just doesnt know how to use it and get on the LOUD pedal :Yell::racecar:

I was there last Wednesday the 16 and Saturday but got rained out. Hope to make it back this Saturday... If you go back let me know.. Be nice to see some hometown people.
