just checking. the website says it has to punch a 50 and i don't know what compound that is. we run at potomac and run 11's and 28's. so the tire rule is open as long as it's a spec tire? also, what is the popular compound down there. how would an 11 do there. thanks for the help.

The actual rule is any SPEC tire. Most run American Racer 12's with a 48 on the right rear. A few even run a 12 on the right rear. The Hoosier D11 should work pretty good with a D21 on the right rear.

ok, cool. thanks for the info. we'll probably be on 11's and 28's just because thats what we already have. just making sure they'll be close cause i've heard they run real soft, like 3's at clary's. also, how is that track laid out. potomac is 3/8 with both corners pretty similar. i know that track is 3/8, but is it tight corner, banked or flat. just want to get an idea. its a long drive to go down and not be ready. i really appreciate all the input and help.
by the way, if we make it down, we'll be in the black and orange 21 ford. we raced with that 36 car this past friday. he was pretty fast for the first time there.

It is slightly banked , nothing like Potomac. Each corner is different , but not very tight. CLR is not as soft as Clary's , but most run very similar tires. CLR is more about handling than power.

There's an aerial view of the track. Hopefully it will help you a little bit.
