Young Guns Idea?????

Got an idea.
My father Richard Clew, will not let me come and race in the young guns class anymore. he said there is no sense in racing when you just run for a trophy. it takes gas to run a car. So what ithink is a good idea, is if dublin has the young guns pay an entry fee (like $25) and pay like $60 to win, $40 for 2nd, $30 for 3rd, and the rest get their entry fee back along withthe top 3 for trophy;s. that would get alot more to come..

Go Kart tracks pay out to all classes, from beginners on up, why not the same for the young guns, I agree, if your going to run for a piece of plastic include some paper.

I agree ... you should be rewarded for your efforts,you cant put the trophies in your fuel tank or bolt them on your car...you may want to be careful about the easy pickins comments concerning your father going to modoc etc...im not so sure your doing him any favors..of course hes probably told you that ...keep doing what you do...let your driving do your talking for you...good luck

you had posted a week or two ago that he was running a race up there and that he said it would be easy pickins for him...like i mentioned ,not sure you did him any favors by posting the comment...glad he won,but it sorta puts a target on him with the regulars up there.thats all i meant.

after reading about the pay off situation, I agree 100% yall are exactly right it takes gas for the car itself let alone gas it takes to get to the track then you have your expense at getting in the track and whatever concestion stand expenses you have. you should get atleast a little bit of it back.

Well said Shotgun.
If you at least have an entry fee for the Young Guns, and pay the top 3 more than the rest, and just give the rest their entry fee money back, they would see alot more show up than a couple a week. I know my dad would let me come and run, if he knew they were gonna do that. Because we haul 2 cars, (next year 3). & it's 3 hours to get there, and theres alot of gas to go. But now we are only haulin one, because I can't run young guns, because there's no money in it.
