I went to the County Line this w.e. and had a blast. It was my first time this year. The track looked GREAT!!!! I normally sit in the pits but I sat in the stands this past w.e. because I heard you could not drive your personal vehicle into the pits anymore. Is this true? I would much rather sit in the pits and the track makes more money, plus I can sit on my own vehicle and not a racing team's, where I'm sure they need all of their room for the crew. Could someone let me know if you can or can not drive your vehicle into the pits this year? Thanks so much....

I have seen cars in the pits however, not sure who they belonged to. Turn 3 and 4 looks pretty bare for the most part, but maybe they dont want anyone there. Maybe we can get Wesley or James up here to answer for you for sure, so I dont get in trouble for misleading you.

I do not think that personal vehicles are allowed in the pit area. However you can park on the outside of 3 & 4 and sit in your vehicle for the pit price.

Last year I drove my vehicle into the pits and parked next to the racing team that i pull for and it didn't seem to be a problem. My brother, which helps on the crew for L2 and L3, told me he didn't think you could drive personal vehicles into the pits this year. Like wilder4racin, I saw many cars parked inside the pit area Saturday night. I do not like to sit track side because there is not a bathroom area over there and the dirt clumps can really hurt when they hit right in the head, plus i just like the pit area because that's where I've always sat and I've been going to County Line for about 15-18 years. Help me out Wesley!!!! What is the deal with personal vehicles?

So, if I go next w.e. and try to drive into the pits, I'm not going to get stopped am I? I would go just about every w.e. if I could drive over there. I just need to know if it is allowed this year. I saw plenty of room to park this past w.e.

Why no park in the parking lot and walk over to the pits? Thats what I do everytime I go there.

Because that's not what I want to do. I want to have my own vehicle to stand on. I do not want to get in the way of the racing crew.

I tryed to drive my truck in there one week and James Batten told me he thought that they had stopped personal vehicles from going in the pits. my buddy had his truck right beside us this weekend I dont have a clue how he did it though. on the gates it says in big words No personal vehicles.

Nope Same stokes for all folks. No personal cars in the pits means just that for everyone.

We tried to drive our vehicle in the pits, because we did that all last year and they will not let you this year. There is a sign hanging up where you pay to get into the pits.

sorry i havent answered the question before now. been at work. no personal cars are allowed in the pits. you can pull them around to turn 3 and park them outside and walk in or its your best bet just to park in the parking lot. this keeps a lot of congestion out of the pits.

Maybe CLR should consider adding at least one porta john over there for the ones that are doing so.

you are right david. i was snrp a few years ago and a tire came off of a car and hit a personal car. put a nice dent in the side of it. as for the porta johns outside. look at all of those trees. hahaha. jk we may do soemthing seeing as how there are a lot of people out there, but of course thats not my call. i can only give suggestions

Adding a porta john to trackside would be a tremendous plus for CLR. I noticed Saturday night that there were quite a few cars parked trackside. I would rather sit trackside than the stands, but not having a bathroom is one of the reasons I chose to sit in the stands rather than trackside. Don't get me wrong, I wish I could drive my car into the pits, but rules are rules and I believe in following them. With more and more people sitting trackside, the porta john sounds like a great idea!!!! Please check into this and let us fans know when you here something. Thank you Wesley.
