Anyone know if aluminum, late model style, shocks are allowed in OWM?
Saw a few bolted up this weekend. I thought they had to be steel.

shocks in question.... you must already know who had them... ive not see any STEEL shocks with threaded bodies...new one on me. also OWM have to use 5" springs, not the 2.5" as the LM's... we will find out for sure this weekend.

I thought that's what had to be run. I'll need to take a closer look next time, but what I saw looked like a threaded shock, but I'm getting old too. Eyes aren't what they used to be.
I was more curious on what was allowed.
Thanks for your feedback!

your welcome the adjustment sleeve that slides over the shock is threaded it kinda make the shocks appear threaded but it is a seprate part the kit consists of thereaded sleeve lock ring that locates sthe sleeve on shockbody upper and lower spring pockets which hold the spring one is threaded for adjustment can be purchased at dunn benson racing supply or any other racing parts supplier

That's probably what I saw.
After I looked the kit up, I figured that was probably it.
