Hello Race Fans! THANK GOD FOR THE RAIN!!!! God teaches us patience...he knows when, where, and how....and he proved it with the rain. Hopefully, the farmer's came come out it ok. Thanks for all the congratulations for our 25th wedding anniversary..continue to remember us in your prayers.
DRJ visited DMS on Friday night ready to see some good racing action but the rain overcame the racing. The track appeared to look good....they disc the track earlier in the week and the surface looked good from top to bottom. We will be visiting Hammerdown this afternoon. Weather is looking great.....BIG OWM race is scheduled for tonight....come on out and stop by the tent. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
DRJ RACE CAR UPDATE: We are installing the engine at this time, have to do a little more cutting/welding, sand, and paint. Believe me, just cause its a DRJ racing ministry car, it is no easier on us. I fully understand what the car owners/drivers experience each week. Thanks to all our sponsors (visit website - they are listed) and this week we welcomed AUTOGRAPHICS of Fayetteville...thanks to Jim Lewis.
DRJ QUOTE OF THE WEEK --ALAN KULWICKI
RACING IS LIKE LIFE. IF YOU GET UP ONE MORE TIME THAN YOU FALL, YOU'LL MAKE IT THROUGH!
NO EXCUSES....When you make a mistake, be man enough to say, "Hey, I did that. It's all me, and I take full responsibility." If we hide from our sins, we will never succeed. Excuses don't work in racing and really no where else. We live in a world where excuses are everywhere. Humans are very creative when it comes to making excuses. Excuses don't work and we're wasting our time trying to portray to be a victim. Don't invent no more excuses, you're wasting your time. Step up to the green flag and own up to our mistakes. God Bless each of you.
