The S.M.A.R.T Series; Homecoming Havoc - Eastside Speedway


A late last minute addition to the schedule will bring the touring series to Eastside Speedway this Saturday night July 12th. The competition at Eastside Speedway in Waynesboro, Virginia has proved to be tough this season and looks to be a tough race for the series combatants. A couple of the series regulars, current hot shoe Jared Almarode and Petie Coffey get to show their stuff at their home track.

This race will be a S.M.A.R.T sanctioned event and will be run by the series officials. There will be an entry fee for the competitors as per the series rules.

We will be updating the website with more awards and prize money as they become available.

Come join us this weekend at Eastside Speedway for the most talked about series in the Mid-Atlantic!

The Steelblock Mid-Atlantic Racing Tour will invade Eastside Speedway this Saturday night July 12th for Homecoming Havoc!


This event is part of the PEPSI 100. The S.M.A.R.T series late models will take on the hometown warriors in our regular format of Time trials, Heats, Consi and 50 lap feature.


Already committed to take on the hometown boys are S.M.A.R.T drivers Allen Brannon, Gerald Davis, Derick Quade, Louis Timberlake, Spencer Liggon, Doug Hardy, Mitch Miller, Jimmy Richards, Walker Arthur, Mark Parks, Louie Littlepage, Bubby Dillman and Eastside regulars playing dual roles, Jared Almarode and Petie Coffey. Don't be suprised if there are a few unexpected arrivals for this one!


Thanks to Mike's Tire and Auto, Devenney's Automotive and Staunton Wrecking for helping us up the purse to $1500 to win for this event! We are still working on adding to the tow money as well.


This will surely be one of the biggest Late Model events at Eastside Speedway this year!


Gates open at 4:00pm for the pits, 5:00pm for the grandstands and racing will start at 7pm sharp! There will be a Meet & Greet with the S.M.A.R.T Series drivers from 4:30pm-5:30pm. Bring the family and get a seat, but you will only need the edge of it!
