Can anyone tell me what happened to Ed Gibbons? I saw where he started 3rd but only ran 33 laps.

Flat left rear. He stayed in the pits along time to change the tire. Appeared something else was broke under the car.

Ed Gibbons broke a left header which cut down the left rear tire , the extra time in was to unbolt what was dragging under the left side .

Dang was that a header under the left rear? i saw something hangin but i couldn't tell ehat it was.

Well, thanks for the info. Some of us thought there was a good possibility that all the welds on the chassis had broken loose! LOL! When Ed ran low through the middle of 1
and 2 and didn't fall in any holes, the inside wall was level with the bottom of the window
opening. On two separate occasions, he hit the ruts down there and both times I could see the entire left rear wheel higher than the inside wall from our line of sight. Cornfield racing at its best!
