I made it today and what the hell was that with the # 9 picking Hanks rear end up coming down the front stretch and thenpushing him over the bank sorry for being so mad but you don't mess with the #1 Hurricane fan:Kill2: cause there was a Hurricane bruing. what did you guys break? Tell Hank to shake it off we will do better next time. Don't care who it was but that was not racing talking about needing a BLACK FLAG that was the time:wings_unibrow::wings_unibrow::wings_unibrow:: wings_unibrow::wings_unibrow:

Actually the 9 didn't do it. We got togther with another car and broke the left tie rod, which sent Hank over the edge.

I would've liked to have qualified on a decent track. The track prep was okay, but it started to rain and we lost the track during OWM qualifying and all the OWM's were told that we were going to be allowed to qualify again before the Clash. The track decided differently and because we were one of the last cars to qualify we had to go out with water sheeting down the track. We had no hope. The track said we were all within 4/10 of a sec between the whole field and they were happy with the qualifying.

I really don't want to get fired up, but I do wish they would follow through with what they told us. Longhany said he never said we would re-qualify, but everyone in a yellow shirt did.

Not sure why the track didn't know we had lost the track during qualifying. Mother nature really won in the end.....

Sorry for the rant....but very frustrating....

I felt like I was :surf: out there..........but hey, like Ray Tucker once told me, we are all racing on the same track..........(In reference to a Rough track we had one year at 4th of July when we ran KINGS)

the Super race was a HUMDINGER lol 3 wide for the lead a couple times and the 3 and 25 battled for a good 3 laps

yeah the black 9 also did a donut in the pits, talk about dangerous....maybe FMS can address this, could be a safety issue or an accident waiting to happen, especially after all the talk of fans paying attention walking through the pits then you have a driver doing donuts??. if your mad, go talk to the officials or whoever your mad at. i also would love to see a track randomly have 1 or 2 drivers (to be fair) out of each class and subject them to a breathalizer test.

lol if you had a breathalizer and a drug test half the car would have to go home and they would loose alot of money safety is not the issue its money

we were told saturday night by everyone in yellow shirts that the tower had decided to re-qualify the owm class sunday. we were not on the same track.... if you will notice on the line up the 4 slowest qualifyers were the 4 owm cars from the overflow pits because they would not allow us to cross the track... we were last to qualify. while hank was qualifying, there was sheets of water running down the track in turns 3 and 4 and he could not see where he was going for the rain. if the track makes a decision, im fine with that, but dont lie to me and change everything while im gone... when the 11 and 20 qualify on the last row.... somethings wrong. but the management doesnt care, its not their car out there getting tore up. sorry for gettin a little out of line, but someones word is all anyone has, take pride in it, and dont lie to your drivers... all hail the SLM's.....

Ok. Yes, OWM were told that we'd re-qualify. Those officialls should have NEVER let those guys go out there with it raining like it was and the track being absolutely terrible from the rain. Drivers were ripping tear-offs off trying to see but nothing helped...none of those drivers could see going around the track thats why the qualifying times were HORRIBLE! The track officialls weren't using their heads...

you think they care about the support classes?

drtfan
07-07-2008, 03:10 PM
ya know i can understand catering to the SLM's when they're at FMS because it's considered a big race ya know.. but still.. without the support classes what would FMS do until the next SLM race? OWM always get screwed.. always run last.. FMS needs to start rotating classes...

they say that we tear the track up... just a poor excuse...... anyone big into dirt racing knows that the OWM do not tear the track up, you see sheets of clay fly 20 feet in the air with the LM and SLMs, do you ever see that with the OWM??? NOOOOO because we dont get enough traction to tear it up. but hey, theyre rocket scientists you know...

Oh no.. it's because you have small tires.. WTH do they think SS run? U Cars? Young guns? The reason OWMs don't blow as many tires is because the tires fit into the ruts the SLM and LLM make. I'm not saying OWM never tear up the track. But you can't blame it all on OWM.

Wat about when the #9 car hit Jordan Taylor under caution. Wat was the #9 car thinking? I think the driver of the #9 car needs to take up another sport.
