HELLO RACE FANS! We missed out on racing this weekend.....DMS was closed on Friday night and we were scheduled for Lake View on Sat night, but it got cnx due to rain. We ran into some heavy rain and wind traveling into Lake View on Sat afternoon. I missed the racing, but I'm thankful for EVERY DROP OF RAIN! We need all we can get in Bladen County.
I have a couple of prayer requests:
Remember the farmers....they need some rain for their crops....they need some help cause this is how they feed the families.
Remember Corky Williams Sr.....I understand he had some serious surgery this weekend. Thoughts and prayers go out to the Williams Family. I know that he will be missed at the track.
DRJ RACING UPDATE: We have found a engine for the Junior Restricted race car...thanks to Wilson Motorsports for helping us out. Its amazing how the racing community pitches in helping everyone out (finding parts, lending a hand for repairs, helping out when needed, etc.) I think that sometimes the Christian community needs to look at the racing community....some lessons can be learned. Hats off to the racing community.
