Are we racin tonight?

According to the weather channel.com, there is a 30% chance of rain all day. That's pretty normal for this time of year, but does anybody know if the Carolina Clash race scheduled for tonight is still on or has there been a cancellation...what's the latest news?

accoriding to my weather rock its dry right now so its not raining when the rock becomes wet i'll know its raining and when i see it blowing across the yard i'll know its probably a tornado and ill let you all know to run like hell HAHA :wings_biggrin: :icon_rofl:

i live about 5 mins from the track and the sun is out looks a little cloudy but the don't look like rain clouds.

About 3:35pm over here in Pinehurst and its raining like Hel* plus thunder! But its still early yet as far as race time!!!

Well i went to county line for the smart race and here in raleigh it was pouring im talking i was going 35 of 64 bypass and i kept thinking to myself that i am wasting my time.. Well got to the other side of wendell and it was just as nice... If they got the race in on that night I know Fayetteville Will get theres in tonight... I just have a feeling Mother Nature loves Dirt Track racing.. "gotta have a postive outlook"

WELL, I have to give it to the track and promoters, they tried as best they could to get it in. Most tracks i've been to would have called the race before the Clash qualifying was finished, but these folks tried to hold out and wait for sprinkles to pass and for that I thank you.

The track facilities, parking and track itself were great. I think this track could eventually become, if it's not already, a signature track in the southeast. Job well done on construction, maintenance and operation of the track; only blemish, need permanent bathrooms on the top level.
