Since you mean ANY track in general, I guess I'll speak on behalf of my "imaginary" track. First, no body associated with my track (track staff) would be allowed to post on ANY internet race message board, speaking for my track, the only exception would be if they were posting their own opinion. With me being the owner/promoter, I would be souly responsible for posting any and all information regarding my track. I would use the internet for advertising and marketing my track, just in a more undisclosed and professional manner. My primary types of internet advertising would be, my tracks website and email marketing, through my contacts list. If anyone had issues, they would NOT be addressed over the internet, but through contacting me personally at the track, over the phone or by email. I would welcome any and all opinions on my track over the internet, good or bad. If my track kept getting bashed week after week, so be it, at least me nor my staff would have no part in it. Honestly, I doubt I would have any opinionated posts on any message boards, I wouldn't have time for it.

Shut it down and build a mall with A/c in it. That way the drivers couldn't bit#@ about the rules.:blue21:

Lordy, I think I could put up with the gripes and complaints at a track better than a building full of shopping/socializing teens and pre-teens. And you think there's drama at a race track..... lol

Marcia, JC and I own a track altogether but we where smarter then most people. One day a know it all, so called promoter came by and said he was interested in the track and ask us how much we thought it was worth. With a little haggling we come to a figure and he meet it. Now JC is play cards, Marcia is going to concerts and I am enjoying the time going from track to track watching these so called promoters bust there butts trying to make ends meet and satisfy his fans with all the nit picking stuff that goes along with owning a race track. Y'all know what I mean, too much dust, track too rough, foods to expensive, admission to expensive, no coolers, no visual inspection before the races, and so on, and on , and on.

I would do like L8model as far as the internet goes. My prices for the gate would be like this track I visited this summer that had over 100 cars for 5 classes. GA adult $10, students 11-17 $7 kids 0-10 free, senior citizens $8, and a pit pass would be $22. This place is always packed. Check it out at www.34Raceway.com (http://www.34Raceway.com)
