The Action Explodes This Saturday Night at Winchester Speedway!

The S.M.A.R.T series rolls into Winchester Speedway again this Saturday night July the 5th with a loaded event. After the rainout from May 30th, the Steelblock Mid-Atlantic Racing Tour is ready for non stop action at the 3/8 mile dirt track. Winchester regular Allen Brannon will fight to regain his spot atop the points after Derick Quade removed him from his spot as the point leader. This won't be an easy task as Winchester looks to be a full field of cars and strong competitors throughout. Competitors from as far as North Carolina and Pennsylvania are expected to compete. S.M.A.R.T member Spencer Liggon as well as Ronnie Boykin will make the trip north to show how the guys down south get it done. The current Xtreme 8 will be Derick Quade in the #74, Allen Brannon in the #11A, Spencer Liggon in the #V1, Louis Timberlake in the #101, Jared Almarode in the #19, Jimmy Richards in the #F13, Mitch Miller in the #95, Petie Coffey in the #01 and alternate will be Winchester's Gerald Davis in the familiar #28.

Some of the bonus awards announced for this weekend's race will be the Stephens Lawn Service Fast Qualifier award of $100. The Steel Block Mania Forum has stepped up their support of the S.M.A.R.T series with the “Maniac Of The Race” award. This award goes to the most breathtaking move of the race award. Three lucky fans will be randomly picked from the audience to decide who will receive the additional $100 dollars.

There will be a S.M.A.R.T series meet and greet for the fans prior to the evening's event from 4:30 -5:30pm outside of the main grandstand. Everyone is welcome to meet and talk with the S.M.A.R.T series drivers!

Don't miss this opportunity to witness the S.M.A.R.T series at Winchester Speedway as the purse could be $2,000 to win! (based on car counts of 31 or more). Winchester Speedway also plays host to the Virginia Sprint Series on Friday and Saturday Night, as well as the Vintage Racers on Friday and the ARDC Midgets on Saturday night. The Winchester Super Late Models will be in action on Friday night as well.

Gates open at 4:30pm both nights with racing action starting at 7pm! For more information log on to www.winchestervaspeedway.com (http://www.winchestervaspeedway.com/)

The S.M.A.R.T series would like to thank the following for their support:
