Why Are The Owners And Promoters Afraid To Post It On There Own Website They Are Busted And The Track Is Closed And Take That Post Down That They Are Closed This Week, If The Track Is Not Going To Reopen Let The Racers And Fans Know That Visit There Website Not Everyone Is Aware Of This Forum And I Guess That Is What They Are Aware Of. Whoever Is Responsible For The Website Needs To Take It Down Or Keep It Up To Date.

Nothing has been said about the future of the track that is not a rumor. RaceJunkie runs the website but i'm sure he is probably waiting on word from bobby johns before he post anything definite. Don't believe anything you hear about 311 until you hear it from RaceJunkie.

As long as they keep paying me I'll put what they want on the website and right now
WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET!

The person that's responsible for the site is not always the same as the person that has been tasked to maintain it. Site admins can only post what they're given. In this case, it's certainly not RJs responsibility to keep it "up to date". That implies that he has the content in order to keep it up to date. The folks calling the shot at the track are responsible.

Nothing against anyone, I would love to see 311 re-open and everyone be happy and get along, but that is asking alot. But it would be nice to go to the 311 website and get facts instead of getting the different stories you get on here. IF they are planning to really re open and working on a deal somewhere they could just post will reopen in the near future , or if it is because of his health I wish him well, being closed this long ovver a heart problem sounds like the gentlemen is very ill and will not be able to continue. I am just saying there own website should be more reliable for true info on what is going on.

I agree, I believe a website should be the main source for info when people are looking updates on what their favorite track is doing this week. But as you can see you can't always depend on it. I can only put up what they tell me so if I have no news then no one else does either. This forum is also a good source because sometimes you know who actually knows what their talking about and who don't. I'm not going to say that anything that has been said about why the track is not operating is not true, because I'm not one of those who know. Some of the people here actually do know more than I, but I can only post what I know is factual.

I called Bobby tonight and I got the same story, not able to go for long periods of time on the treadmill. Maybe next week he says, we will have to see.

Well here is an opinion to gander on... Maybe some fact, maybe some not. Be the judge. But i know my car is getting ready for friendship soon.
B.Johns paid Jaybird 400k for the track with intentions of paying the other 800k in so much time. The original agreement between Jaybird and Friddle was an amount and was supposed to be paid by OCT in 2011. Its on the Stokes county website property deeds. So that is Fact.
Bobbbby Johns hasnt paid another dime that most are aware of since the initial 400k. He may have filed bankrupcy somewhere who knows. But the tracks not in his name. He is only listed as sign a paper say he is a " president " of 311 holdings granting him permission to make decision for the 311 speedway and trackside restaurant. That is a fact found a few pages later in the property deeds on the website.
He wont sell the track for no 800 k. Thats what he owes on it! He is going to want 1.2M or whatever to get his payment of 400k back.
Jaybird has be quoted saying that he has prior comittment this year and does not have time to run the track the remainder of this year. Not until next year. Or if it is sold. Which who cares as long as it is opened and somebody runs the place.
Bobbbby Johns also said in his restaurant a week or so ago, he was ready to pack his bags and get out of dodge. Or something very close to that.
And as far as health problems, might be some fact to it. But the track officials said bobbby called from the hospital and had been there all day that saturday which is a flat out LIE, because I was at the track before 4pm and he was sneakin up the hill in the water truck and waved. Dont mean he dont have heart problems, if I ruined a premier track in this area, id wanna know just where my heart was at also.
