The Orren Taylor Memorial event convincingly proved the racing/excitment merits of the limited late model division. Nineteen cars were on hand, and seventeen took the green flag. The action was fast and furious and the winner was never decided until the very end. A scripted version could not have been any better. Anybody, out there, think this idea, big-event-LLM-racing has a future, and does Dublin need to have more of them over the course of the remainder of the season? What do y'all think? Let's hear some chatter race fans!

From what I've seen....special events seem to bring the crowds....
I think they need to have more of them to spark interest and promote the track.....
There were tons of cars and people there Friday night!
Good Job to Dublin!

I think it has a future. Let's just stop referring to them as "limiteds". Let's promote our local late model drivers. Have a big show every once in a while. I've seen some great late model racing at Fayetteville this year and I only expect it will get better with the improvements they've made to the track. I've only been to Dublin twice, but I've enjoyed the lates there as well.

I enjoyed the llm race....very exciting and kept you on the edge of your seat. I noticed the great racing up front, but there was alot of racing in the middle also. #13 was picking them off and made it to 6th, had a flat....went to overflow and changed....came back and still finished 7th. My opinion is to have more huge events.

well the track doesnt have to be dry or dusty to run a harder tire we were running a 56 on rr. it all depends on the car set-up and how much you want to use the rr we even ran a 48 on lr and a 48 on rf. just depends on the car and driver.
