The sign has been up for some time. This, obviously, creates an air of unpredictability, especially if the rumor that the zoning and the "racing" permits are only conveyed to the present owner. Any new owner would have to re-petition for a cetificate of occupancy to conduct racing events. In today's anti-noise, anti-racing political world, such is not guarantee.

I see that a 2006 schedule and rules are posted on FMS. Now that its for sale are the current owners planning to run 2006 or will they cancel the season?

From what i have read both tracks are for sale and not to be sold separatly for 2.4 million dollars.

I've been very good this year. I help with Justin's Mod 4.

For Christmas I would to have my very own racetrack named "FMS". Please just leave the deed in my stocking. It shouldn't take up too much room.

I have not heard about this. I guess Meshaw or who ever owns the land is still trying to sell it. I will find out what is going on.

The # on the for sale is Dan Meshaw's cell #. He said the land is for sale just like it was all last racing season. FMS will be running in '06. Don't let the sign fool you!

I just got off the phone with Larry Norris. He said the race track is not for sale. The drag strip is. He has made Meshaw an offer. He said if anyone does not believe it then call him or call the bank. FMS is not for sale!!! They will bre racing in 2006 starting April 1, 2006. There are two open practices, March 18th, 2006 & March 25th, 2006. Larry asked me to tell everyone not to believe this crap and anyone needs to know anything about the track, schedule, rules, etc. to call him!

From what I've been told from folks down there...both tracks are for sale, but the dirt track is still under a 10 year lease agreement, so if it is sold the lease would be honored.

2 TRACTS of LAND ....NOT:
2 TRACKS of LAND.

The drag strip and the tract of land beside it is for sale.

What does it really matter. Why is it Dublin fans try to down FMS and FMS fans try and down Dublin.........Let me tell you from expereince, it only hurts both tracks.

IT IS BOTH FOR SALE. The bank will not divide it up. Larry Norris has a 10 lease on the dirt track. There is just enough money paid each month to keep the track from being forclosed. 2.4 million buys all property which includes both race tracks. Who say's the OWNER D.MESHAW
