How old are you? Because that was the cost when I started driving 22 years ago. I am 39.

8 years after high school, I'm driving a Ford Explorer with 2 car seats in it......just filled up for $63.00 with gas at $3.93 a gallon. Will burn half a tank going back and forth to work.

Back in high school, I was driving an Olds Cutlass Supreme w/ a Quad 4.......would fill up on Friday afternoons for $20.00 with gas at $1.10 a gallon for Premium 93.......would still have 1/2 a tank by that next Friday and wouldn't fill up until the low fuel light came on sometime that next week for another $20. Man I miss those days.......well just the gas prices anyhow. Wouldn't trade anything for the wife and kids.
