311 Needs to Speak Up

The owner of 311 needs to let the drivers and fans know something definite, we are checking the site waiting to see what is going to happen with the track and I am sure the future of the track is already known. If they are going to open back up just tell us if you are not tell us. The local drivers and fans are really being hurt by this. We were hoping to come down this past week but you were still closed, the longer it sits idle and the people are not informed I think they are hurting their business. If they are planning a big reopening they can still get on here and let everyone know they are going to reopen and give the fans and drivers something to get ready for.:wings_wise:

I can only hope that either Bobby has a true change of heart and shows a true passion for the sport and the track. If not perhaps someone who has the passion will buy it. As a racer I have always truly appreciated every fan in the stands, wheather they were one of my fans or not. They love the sport enough to pay their hard earned money to come see us have a good time. And at the same time making the promotor a good living. So yes I agree if not the drivers and car owners Bobby owes it to the race fans to let them know what to expect.

called bobby and he said no more races untill its sold. if we dont run anymore this year it would be worth it to get rid of that man. we havent had any real racing at 311 since he stole the track

I guess I'll have to go to Caraway or even Bowman Gray if I want to see some racing. I would go to Friendship but it's a HAUL from Trinity with gas $$$$$$. Maybe I can make it up there at least once a month. If someone one there wants to go let me know and maybe we can carpool. That way it doesn't cost us both an arm & leg.

Not picking on any one person in particular, but it seems like every one on here did nothing but gripe about the way the track was run..... now it looks like its gone, at least for now. so the way i look at it you got what wanted.

well mike we were griping cause we know if the track was ran the way it could have been the place wouldnt be closed cause he could be making some money an we could have a good field of cars but who was going to come up there to race against 5 cars? thats just not racing in my book because if you win u really havent done much! And the way that he was going to start doing the payout if you won you wouldn't really get anything, you would have to win to brake even!

I hate seeing the place close down. We enjoyed coming down and running there. It may have had some problems, but so does alot of other places. There isnt many places close by for us to run a super at. I hope for the local drivers and fans in that area that someone will get it up and going again. With fuel prices rising the way they are its hard for alot of people to travel very far. I wish for the best for all the fans and drivers in that area. Support your local tracks you dont know how bad youll miss them till they are gone.

why has noone answered this qustion???Are there any zoning issues with noise etc???The price doesnt have to be exact but someone has to have an idea of price and what would transfer with it...stands ,watertruck,tractors pack cars etc...Good question aj

i really don't care who buys it as long as it stays dirt for one and that they or whoever that get to promote it treats everyone fair from drivers to fans. I guess i am asking for someone who really cares about the people that attend. In imo that has been the down fall for the last few people that owned the track not caring about the people just making money and it has failed every time thus far.

Personally I think the thought of a "CUP" team owner buying any particular track to use as a "practice" track is really a crazy idea when they can go to just about any existing track around here and rent it for around 100.00 a day.......and not have to worry about the cost of purchasing a track,insurance,maintanance and etc. JMO

I think if Childress bought the track it would prolly stay dirt. The reason that Austin Dillon races dirt tracks is because Richard wanted him to learn to drive on dirt because he thinks the best asphalt drivers start on dirt. He said that in his interview on espn nascar now a while back.

Big difference from Million and a 1/2 to $800k...maybe its not for sell know one is promoting it for sale on here. This would be a good place to try to get the word out...also like BBQ boy said what all comes with it i'd love to own a track someday LOL!!! (really though i would i'd keep it fair no matter who it was..even if it was my best friend racing if he is wrong he's wrong)drivers like tracks that are strict on rulz and if they don't liek the track for being strict then they must have something to hide. JMO
