i just left clr and they had only run 2 classes. the ss4 race was won by victor may and the late models were running and when i left it was 5 to go and there was a big pile up in turn 2 from 4th place on back.
02 damon kotke and 36 ronnie boykin were on the front row.

about 1/2 way britches made it past ronnie and was looking toward the 02. the top 3 when i left was 02 kotke,07 liles and 21 of batten. not sure how they finished .

i do know it was going to be 61 of wade ferrel and l2 of britches liles ont eh front row for the thunder and lightning race.

I was just wondering who the tech man was that checked the pure stock v8 protest last night? We have yet to see a tech man this year or anyone who knows what they are doing under the hood that is not involved in another race team out there.

Thats a perfect combo to have there teching. Jim Massengill and Glenn Upchurch both have a hell of a lot of experience and knowledge. Both of them have helped us a lot through the years and Ive talked to them a lot. I know them both good and I know they know their stuff like nobody else. If the 44 is legal, he is just damn good!

but Jerry wont illigal thats all that matters, so congrats to Jerry on his 3rd win of 2008. CLR is about setup I figured all of yall "veterans" would have known that by now. its a lil motor and alot of handlin and a lil bit of flat out drivin, and Jerry has got it all together. so, the way I see it maybe the rest of em have some homework left to do. heck its just like 08 in ps4 he's fast but it doesnt make him illigal tho, its just some of us have some hw left to do. hell Jimmy and Micheal have proved he can be beat. But everybody is always gonna be worried about folks cheatin as long as thier racin I guess.

Yep, congrats to Jerry on his win! I honestly didnt think the 44 was illegal because we can keep with him on the straights - but I WAS hopin just maybe he was illegal Sat night for points and $$$ aspect MUHAHAHA (no disrespect to Jerry lol).

Youre right about setup being very important, and especially in the PSV8 class. 3200lbs on DOT radials at CLR means setup is BIGTIME important for this class. We're real good in 1&2 usually but not in 3&4 - push in/loose out in 3&4. Also the car is good up high, but when we run down low like to try and pass, it is bad push in/loose off at both ends of the track.
Both the 44 and 21 are very close to as good as they can get on setup I think(or hope, lol). We've definately got some homework to do on ours. We've been trying something different every week and some things have worked and a lot hasnt, but weve learned from what hasnt worked just like weve learned from what has worked. Its hurt us that we've been trying something new every week in that Ben has to quickly adjust to something being different every week; but its helped us by what its taught us about the setup --> which will help us more in the long run IMO.

in my opinion everybody is catching up with gary whitley and everybody else in that class because they were there front running and everything and now everybody is running out front
