.Budds Creek MD- Paul Cursey claimed his fourth victory of the 08 season in the Late Model Feature Main Event. Other winners included Kurt Zimmerman Street Stocks, Jason Murphy Hobbystocks, Larry Fuchs Strictly Stocks and Buddy Dunagan Hornets.
In the twenty five lap caution filled Late Model main it was Paul Cursey picking up his fourth win of the season, Front row starters Ed Pope and Derick Quade lead the field to the green with Quade taking the lead. Quade looked to be on his way to his first win as Paul Cursey applied pressure on lap fourteen to take the lead. The two battled side by side as Quade would retake the lead on lap twenty one and looked to be on his way, But Cursey had other thoughts as Cursey would regain the lead on the white flag the two side by side down the back stretch and entered turn four side by side with Cursey taking the top spot to claim his fourth victory and the top spot in the points. Quade crossed second, rookie Ed Pope third,Mike Latham fourth and completiting the top five Barry Lear Jr.Heats were won by Quade and Wagner.
In the sixteen lap caution free Coors Light Street Stock main event it was Kurt Zimmerman picking up his third win of the season.Zimmerman took the lead on the initial start and never looked back to claim his third victory. Kyle Nelson crossed second, third Chuck Bowie, fourth P.J. Hatcher and Jimmy Jemse fifth. Heats went to Nelson and Bowie.
In the fifteen lap caution free Sunoco Race Fuel Hobbystock main event it was Jason Murphy picking up his second win.Murphy took the lead on the initial start and never looked back. Second Scotty Nelson, third John Burch, fourth Ralph Price and rounding out the top five was Josh Dotson. Heats went to Murphy and Jimmy Suite.Mitchell Hart was the Midas Hard Charger Award Winner.
In the twenty lap Strictly Stock main event it was Larry Fuchs picking up the win. Rookie Dale Simpson looked to be on his way to his first feature win but came up short on the white flag after leading the first ninteen laps. John Hardisty crossed second, Simpson third, Vantassel fourth and Rusty Jones fifth. Heats went to Simpson and Vantassel.
In the twenty lap Hornet main event it was Budy Dunagan picking up the win. Chad Medina would lead the first two laps as Dunagan took the lead on lap three and left the field by half a track. Second to Medina, third Catena, fourth Mills and fifth went to Krenkle. The heat race was won by Nick Catena.
