LINCOLNTON, NC – The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series is set for another big night of racing as the nine year old Super Late Model tour will invade the ‘Ring of Fire’ at Clary’s Speedway this Saturday night June 28th.
“We are very excited to make the trip to Clary’s Speedway this weekend,” said Carolina Clash President Larry Lee. “’The Ring of Fire’ has some strong local talent and it should be a real show for the fans.”
This will be the first time since 2006 that the ‘Blue Collar Tour’ has visited Clary’s Speedway. That event is still stuck in the minds of several race fans as Booper Bare made a last lap, last corner pass of Jack Pennington to secure the win.
Dennis ‘Rambo’ Franklin will lead the ‘Carolina Bad Boys’ into the weekend with the series points lead. He will be one of the favorites to collect the $5,000 win.
Pit gates will open on Saturday at 3:00 PM with the drivers meeting at 6:00 PM. Hot laps will start at 6:15 with racing at 6:30 pm.
