The problem is, with other race tracks now in the area. People WILL be changing there cars to run elsewhere. And its going to make it harder for anyone to get 311 rolling again. I my self would rather tow 25 minutes to 311 then 1 1/2 hours to anywhere else. But I understand everyone else's problems with the current " PROMOTER " .

Whats the problem with the current promoter why doesn't he make the rulz so know one will have to switch there cars?

If I were to bet, I would put my money on July 5,
Its the night I have been waiting for, 4 late model main events!
Its not rocket science, Crowds are large for the SLM shows - Reg shows are not drawing and Im guessing not enough to pay the bills. This was a pattern at the end of the season last year. Regular show cancelled for various reasons. Twin 25's I don't recall any being cancelled.

The rules are failry compairable to other tracks in the area. Track is a little bigger so ya need a numerically smaller gear. Problem is, talk to racers that raced there 3 and 4 years ago, when there was 14 and 15 cars if not more in every class every night. It was the mans attitude that made the place a ghost town. And unless you race there, every week for the past 3 or 4 years you dont know. A lot of drivers wont come back to 311 if he is there. At the beginning of this year he stayed of the microphone, out of the headsets and was told keep his mouth shut by Mike Johnson and he let him and Tim run everything. Things were lookin better and getting better. After a few weeks Mike gets sick, Bobby is back on the darn PA and in the headsets trying to run things again. The only thing he ran was the last remaining die hard 311 racers away, not to mention several cars in several classes had blown motors, and major issues that took a while to be fixed. I myself had a blown motor. I was never a race fan or wanted to drive a race car until i started helping my neighbor out 1 year. Then i got hooked. I love 311, I dont want to see it get gone. And if it mattered, I would go up there after work during the week and work on the track and so would other people. And we offered this to *****. He said come on and help. But then when its time. He dont want the help. Go figure. He has also told one person this week that he was packing his bags and getting out of dodge. Whether he was running his mouth as normal who knows. Only the people that write the script to 311 Turns knows the outcome this time.

I don't know anything about what is going on, but i do think the drivers need to told the truth. that way they can make plans for racing else where if need be. the fans also need to know what the tracks plans are so as to give them some idea of what or where they can plan to go see racing action. we are not asking to be told if the man is broke or anything about his life, just what the plan is as far as the racing for the rest of this year. JMO that he owes the fans that much anyway well if he cares if they come back or not.
